  • Electronic Arts: The Battlefront Beta Knocks It Out Of The Park [View article]
It had a ton of people playing, but honestly, it was such a bad game, mechanically. Skipping past the nostalgia part, which was pretty strong, it just wasn't nearly as polished or fun as the recent Black Ops 3 open beta.

  • Linn Energy and LinnCo tumble; rumor swirls [View news story]
The price movement itself is newsworthy, and that entails explaining the reasoning behind the drop.

  • No, The Government Is Not Lying To You About Oil [View article]
In New Jersey, where we actually have a slight price premium because of our full-service pumps, I'm seeing gas below $2.30.

  • Intel Wins From Surging Sales Of Chromebooks [View article]
The issue is this though: 99% of the world doesn't need or care about getting the best chips in the world.

Adequate, cheap, performance is the name of the game for most people.

  • The Linn Energy Drop Has Created A Buying Opportunity For Long-Term Investors [View article]
Right, but it also means that the distribution should not be used as a reason to hold/go long, as the author seems to be suggesting.

  • Activision Blizzard up 7.1% after beat, raised outlook [View news story]
Expecting big things out of the newest installment of Call of Duty coming out in Q4. From the excitement in the community and its shift over to the much bigger PlayStation community, I could see Black Ops 3 being the biggest title in Activision history.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but generally, after the dividend payout, isn't there a corresponding decrease in the market price of the stock?

Thus, barring some kind of cataclysm that causes oil/gas prices to go skyrocketing in the immediate future, I would think you'd be better off, if you're bullish on LINN, (which I'm not unless oil/gas does a complete 180, and soon) holding off for a couple months.

I'm 2 for 2 now, following Brad's advice! OHI and AMRE (bit of a scare at first, but I doubled down and am looking pretty smart now).

Thanks for your great articles, Brad!

  • Chicago Bridge responds to attack [View news story]
Short sellers often have a legitimate case. Not all businesses are operating on the up and up. I can remember off the top of my head several instances when the short sellers were right and the long writers were the ones that were wrong.

Remember when GeoInvesting released that damning report on Longwei Petroleum? They weren't wrong.

Remember when Galena was caught doing stock promotion?

How does this have anything to do with the stock market or investing? Or anything to do with the original article? Thank you for spewing your pointless rhetoric.

Also, at no point did the Senate report conclude that there was a cover-up. They concluded that our government's incompetence got those 4 Americans killed. And that Clinton was culpable for that incompetence. Which is what we've known the entire time.

  • T-Mobile might take aim at termination fees, pressure AT&T/Verizon's margins [View news story]
Here in North New Jersey and in NYC, Sprint has absolutely atrocious service. My Neighbors and co-workers with T-mobile, on the other hand, have immaculate coverage.

Aww man... I love imgur... That "edgy and offbeat material" is definitely doomed the moment imgur goes corporate.

Definitely an interesting acquisition by Yahoo in the meantime though.

  • Which Is Best: DRIP Or Collect And Invest? [View article]
Works well for me. I only get a grand or so a year in dividends, not enough to justify paying a commission for collecting/investing. Every month or so, I change which one of my holdings gets 100% of my dividends. Basically, whichever one I consider most undervalued.
