  • Torex Gold Is An Exciting Junior Gold Stock Nearing Production [View article]
One thing I learned the hard way - never invest in a war zone. The Mexican mob is very powerful in that area. This mine has huge extortion possibilities. Why would anyone attack a convoy of soldiers except to prove that you (the mob) ARE MORE POWERFUL than the Mexican government.
If I were the mob...I would extract "security payments" from the company in pure gold...or rob the gold shipments - its way way too juicy a target.

  • The Golden Long: Frost's Pershing Gold Poised For A Significant Upside Move [View article]
When people and companies invest millions into a junior like PGLC, they can not sell without drastically killing the price..Their only exit is a buy out. PGLC will get bought out.

  • NZERF Makes Cost Cutting Moves, New Ceo, Closes Canada, Shares Rise [View instapost]
Closing down an office & letting 4 people go and getting a new CEO is a start... that's all. All the investors including me took issue w/ the CEO's salary of $380,000.00. If the new CEO is making anything over $40,000/yr. - then nothing has been solved.

New Zealand Energy has needed to buy a jet pump for at least one of its wells for a year now...every time they updated investors they were always "analyzing & running more tests & doing cost analysis" on whether to buy the damn jet pump instead of just buying the thing and moving on w/ life. Everything in NZ moves at a snails pace which can drive you insane.

The last ginormous issue NZERF has is no money & no way to get money...unlike Pershing Gold who never ever ever has trouble raising money. This company in actuality needed to issue more shares to raise at least $25,000,000 to drill new wells...but they never had the balls to do it! They needed to do this back when the share price was $1.25.

But John Proust had a "secret" grand plan - he was going to save his way to prosperity. Look at how that turned out. He was also never going to reduce his salary...which oddly enough was the exact cost of the jet pump.

I am so burned out on this stock...another company with a lot of money needs to buy this company out...period.

    Dear Tullii,

Would you please do an Expose on Madalena Energy, I am heavily invested in this company along w/ Petromanas Energy after NEW Zealand Energy totally crapped out & I lost $30,000 on it.

After Madalena acquired Gran Tierra's Argentinean assets, to me, they looked like an even better speculation than PetroAmerica acquiring Suroco. PetroAmerica simply has to many shares outstanding along w/ options & way way too many warrants which in my estimation is diluting the hell out of the stock...even if they do have $65,000,000 cash. There's a recent article that talks about George Soros raising his stake in the Argentinean state owned oil company YPF to 3.5 % or $450,000,000 worth of YPF stock. This is in spite of the fact Argentina defaulted on their bond payment.

More money is going into the Nequen oil shale basin in Argentina than in Columbia's LLANOS AND PUTUMAYO BASINS combined.

    Thanks Tullii

  • Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited - 'Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants' [View article]
I talk to COPL's vice-president Chris & I looked at their financials that came out today. People...they only have $956,000 left in their treasury & they have not yet begun to drill. They are definetly going to have to go back to the capital markets to raise more money, and this will not be the last time. The stock is going to suffer serious dilution. Wait until it goes down to 10 cents or less before you buy.

The potential is SUPER INCREDIBLE! However...the cash burn rate of roughly $500,000 per month, the 300,000,000 fully diluted shares, and their tiny treasury is more than worrisome. This company could run out of money & no longer be a going concern before Exxon even drills 1 dam hole. Time is against them! Truth fully...if I were Exxon...I would really take my time drilling that first hole.

This is the kicker & what you have to remember, even if there is 2.6 billion barrels of oil 6000 feet down & they can get at it, it will be 5 to 10 years before anyone will see one drop! Which means XOP will have to borrow against their potential share of the oil to actually fund any kind of incursion into Nigeria. New Zealand is not a reality in any way for XOP, because it costs millions & millions to drill one well. Also, there is no infrastructure in place to collect the oil or pipe it anywhere.

Nigeria in reality, is also off the table for XOP because of the $45 million they will need to drill just 1 little hole. I think investors forget the oil business is ginormously expensive. XOP needs Exxon to start drilling in the next 30 days or run out of money before they can have a chance to analyze their drill cores.

Oh well...it was a good story.

  • Pershing Gold Reports 2nd Set Of Strong Drill Results [View article]
Peter, Veris Gold is a slam dunk double at least...the only reason they went down is because of an electrical fire that caused them to default on their loan.

They are in the process of renegotiating the loan for better terms.

Eric Sprott bought 25% of the last private placement @.43 per share .

The only reason the stock tanked was because of the deault on the loan. The price should recover as soon as the loan is renegotiated.

I really like the narrative as do most people for this stock...but I despise the 10:1 reverse stock split coming to get the price over $3.00 to get listed on the Nasdaq. I learned this after talking to the public relations guy for Pershing. I hate it...I hate it...I hate it...shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • New Zealand Energy Is Poised For Growth In Q4 [View instapost]
Here is an answer from John Proust on the same question I just answered:

Why didn't the Waitapu-2 and Waihapa-2 wells start producing in January, as forecast?

    February 5, 2014
We were supposed to get a service rig in the third week of January to allow us to complete the work required to get those two wells into production (replacing the pump in Waitapu-2 and installing artificial lift in Waihapa-2) but the rig was delayed. The rig is being used by another oil and gas company and their activities took longer than anticipated. The service companies allow minor extensions to timelines so that companies can finish up their work. We would want them to apply the same courtesy to us, if our work takes longer than expected. So although it's frustrating, we'll have to wait for the rig until mid-February. Once we've got the rig we will immediately start working on the five wells as outlined in our February 4 press release. We'll be replacing the downhole pump in Waitapu-2, installing the ESP in Toko-2B, and then installing artificial lift in Waihapa-2 and Waihapa-8. We don't need a service rig to recommence production from the Tikorangi formation in Waihapa-1B. If we're not happy with the Tikorangi performance, however, we could use the service rig to do an uphole Mt. Messenger completion in the Waihapa-1B well. We will certainly keep that rig very busy, once we've got it!

Just so everyone knows - Waitapu-2 well expected to resume production in January
add in 100 bpd net to NZ (This well is on the Eltham permit. It's 100% net to NZ)

    - Everyone remember when I made this statement, I talk to Rhyllin, this well only needed a service rig on 1/25/2014 to bring it back on line - the rig was delayed...this one well would have put the bpd @ 386/bpd...not this 286 bullshit.

    - Either the company who had the rig really did need it a little longer...so it was a case of bad luck...or they purposefully kept it knowing it would skew NZEC's #'s to the downside making them look stagnant...March's #'s will be very different.
