  • Tesla Motors -4% amid more analyst resets  [View news story]
I keep comparing Tesla to pets.com, that old internet company from the turn of the century. Both never made a dime in profit, and it looks like Tesla never will either.

Bloomberg is uncharismatic and has no real presence outside of New York. It's a non-starter.

  • Is it time for Tesla Motors to take on a strategic partner?  [View news story]
Nobody is going to partner with Tesla at this point. Anything of value from them will be bought by vultures at fire sale prices or during bankruptcy. Big auto manufacturers don't want to weigh themselves down with Tesla's management problems.

  • Is Tesla Getting Cheap, Or Are Big Investors Losing Confidence?  [View article]
Tesla loses money constantly with no profits in sight. Their debt sells at junk bond levels, and they need massive amounts of capital for expansion. The only option left is dilution, and the smarter shareholders are getting out before they get left holding the bag. It's a death spiral.

  • Tesla Stock Misunderstood: It's Undervalued  [View article]
Nobody in the market for Tesla's cars is sensitive to changes in the price of oil or gas in any meaningful amount.

The simple reason why Tesla stock has tanked as of late is that it's a financial train wreck, not because people are selling because the price of gas is down.

I use Yahoo and have for a long time. My email accounts are all there and it's too much of a hassle to set up alternate email accounts at Google or some other place, then send out my new email addresses to people, set up new subscriptions, etc. I suspect a the bulk of Yahoo users are "sticky" like that.

Yahoo is just another web portal, nothing special.

The most powerful man in the country is either the FBI director or the man who controls the FBI director. He could probably indict half of the government for Server related crimes.
