  • Yelp Investors Will Soon Be Calling For Help [View article]
So true and if anyone has spent anytime on a college campus - You would see every kid using Yelp to find where to go to get something to eat - Heck they go to yelp 1st before Grubhub to order in - FB started with a huge college base .We'll see but don't see yelp going anywhere anytime soon

  • VAPE Holdings: $190-Million Market Cap With No Revenues; Likely To Drop 90%; $1 Price Target [View article]
Thanks to you both - seems like many companies are changing there business model to reset as a Pot company & imo they are mostly scams.
They can be lucrative trading opportunities but there is such a high degree of a halt happening it is definitely a high maintenance trade.

  • Camtek: Printing A 3D Pump And Dump [View article]
"Camtek developing 3D print system, will not develop new Xact products
Camtek announced that in light of the high trading volume of the company's shares and rumors that have been circulating in the media over the course of the past few days, it wishes to clarify that, as reported previously, it is now in the advanced stages of the development of the GreenJet, a digital 3D printing system used for the deposition of solder mask designated for the printed circuit board industry. The first installation of the GreenJet System for evaluation in a customer's manufacturing environment is expected to take place in the beginning of 2014 and, subject to the results, the company expects the first commercial sales of the GreenJet System to take place during 2014. In addition, the company wishes to inform that it has decided to focus on its two primary markets, namely products for the printed circuit board industry and inspection products for the semi-conductor market, and will not continue with development of future models of its Xact product line designed for the sample preparation of models for the characterization and failure analysis in the semi-conductor industry. The company will continue to sell and support the existing Xact products. Therefore, as a future growth engine, in addition to the existing products lines, the company will focus its activity in the field of digital 3D printing for the printed circuit board industry, including the GreenJet System" Company filing - pump & dump ?? Looks more like fact than fiction
ONVO has traded on pure 3D body part speculation & it's a piece of junk. CAMT is heading in a new direction with a solid balance sheet.

  • The Yahoo Play [View article]
One more thing- if AOL can trade in the 40's I see no reason YHOO cannot get to 50.

imo - I think the Softbank- Alibaba relationship is more comparable to GSVC & Twitter-
However I do concur that both are being bid up as a proxy on Alibaba & I don't disagree that YHOO may see a short term hit on Alibaba's IPO; however YHOO still has YHOO Japan, They are shrinking the float & Acquiring many smaller companies and altering the business model (Like hiring Katie Couric)
Post Alibaba's IPO, think the focus will shift to YHOO's prospects and how the core business looks going forward.
Are they seeing a turnaround? How's Mobile? ad revenue etc.
That being said, YHOO could pull back as a knee jerk reaction but it could also continue to rise based on where their business prospects stand at that point and the projections going forward.

P.s. Depending on the tax implications, I could see YHOO doing a onetime special dividend post Alibaba's IPO
