  • MannKind's CEO Presents at Goldman Sachs 36th Annual Global Healthcare Conference (Transcript) [View article]
Seems to me MNKD should have some lessons on what to say & how to speak at meetings. How things r interpreted can have huge negative impacts. An upbeat, positive tone & attitude couldn't hurt. They need to think b4 they speak. They also need to think about their investors - shareholders who would like the SP 2 go up & stay up sometime soon.

  • MannKind Corporation to Hold 2015 First Quarter Financial Results Conference Call on May 8, 2015 [View article]
Sorry, a few more questions - wish someone would ask them: 3. Would Al Mann consider selling the company or taking it private? 4. How solid do they feel about their relationship with SNF and the future of the deal with them? 5. How long before a deal or deals regarding Tecnosphere are announced? What is the cause for the delay on at least updates regarding Technosphere? 6. What else is in pipeline - clinical trials - including some from the past that have not been discussed further for some time. 7. What are the plans to bring shareholder value and not dilute the stock. 8. Ridiculous game playing with so called script numbers every Friday needs to stop. What can MNKD do to provide accurate information and stop this foolishness. 9. Why are they selling stock & options and never buying stock, especially when the price is so incredibly low? Wish MNKD would communicate better, so there would not be so many questions. Thank you.

  • MannKind Corporation to Hold 2015 First Quarter Financial Results Conference Call on May 8, 2015 [View article]
If anyone out there will be asking questions on this call, please ask: 1. What are the specific plans by MNKD to resolve the August debt situation. 2. Would MNKD consider doing something to improve ongoing communications with the public and especially shareholders who often feel as if they have put their money into a black hole. Seems this could help to bring in new investors as well.

  • Michael Kors Set For Significant Future Earnings Growth [View article]
Got in too high - high $90's. Thought for sure it was going to $120. What a mistake. No wonder so many people are still afraid to be in the market. Such players. It will be back.. just disappointing for now.

  • MannKind: Use This Drop As An Opportunity [View article]
I agree. Yes, I was referring to when the stock price appears to have been intentionally affected for an agenda. And yes, it certainly is unethical if true. No doubt, investors should do their own DD and not simply follow others. Unfortunately, we all know that doesn't seem to happen. GS is well regarded by many and carries considerable power. That makes it even worse. The problem in proving intentional manipulation of the stock is subjectivity. There will always be nervous & uninformed investors - that is what helps fuel the unethical and will always keep them going. You would think the SEC might take a look at this particular situation and see whether they think it was deliberate & unethical. Now, that would be an ethical thing to do.

There should be a limit to freedom of speech if this is allowed. GS & their so called analyst should be investigated for causing this damage. It is not ethical.

  • Apple: Pride Comes Before A Fall [View article]
You didn't mention shorting AAPL - just buying puts. Wondering, with so many other stocks out there giving short & put opportunities, why you keep this obsession going with AAPL? Seems like this has been going on for quite some time. Eventually, you will probably be right - since no stock typically goes up forever but at what cost and aggravation. GL Michael. You could need it for a long, long time. Hope as you continue to look back, that it is worth it to you. You might consider simply looking forward at something else.

Well, you didn't mention that you are shorting AAPL this ime - just buying puts. Just wondering - with so many other stocks out there to short or buy pus on, why pick AAPL. What's the obsession with it. Seems there would be a lot less risk and money to be made elsewhere. Guess sooner or later you could be right since nothing typically goes up forever but at what cost and aggravation. Anyway, it's your dime. I have enough problems with mine. Good luck!

  • Update: A Dangerous Time To Be Short MannKind [View article]
Timing is everything and this article certainly was. Thought the stock might be up today, with the soon to be pricing news and launch. Instead, here we are with more news to bring it bring it down. Yes, Mann is still involved and owns MANY shares but why did he decide to step down now. In general. MNKD should care enough about their shareholders to be more forthcoming. It's like a black hole. No wonder the shorts so easily destroy it. Certainly hope SNY has marketing sense and something good happens soon to turn this around again.

Many don't agree with the downgrade. For now, traders and players unite. Guess we will see who is right later in the year.

  • There Is No Recovery At J.C. Penney [View article]
Is this really the case? Other than the sad behavior of shorts that sometimes help to ruin companies, why was this thought to be such a great buying opportunity by many just before Analyst Day? It still is by some. Guess we will find out soon enough who is right and to what degree shorts - hedge funds will be able to tear it apart.

  • MannKind: Does Size Matter? [View article]
You forgot to mention the best reason that size matters - it's what will make the short squeeze so good. That's ok, mention it next time.

  • J.C. Penney - Q3 Earnings Report Leaves Shareholders Doubtful Of Long-Term Recovery [View article]
If this is the case, the stock should not have gone up like it was constantly doing a few months ago. Even Mad Money's Cramer and his chart reader said, buy - buy - buy... going to $14 or more by end of year. Analyst day was the beginning of the mess - what a market overreaction. Different day, same old casino - the players are like a bunch of sheep. JCP's next big run up phase will probably make no more sense than the last one but it will happen. Stay tuned.
