  • Here's Why I'm Buying Microsoft And Selling Apple [View article]
Ok. Go ahead; sell Apple and buy Microsoft. Hopefully, I will pick up more Apple shares if indeed you and those who believe you sell their shares and provide a good entry point for me.

  • Top BDC Predictions For May: 23% Yield; 30% Upside; And 42.8% Net Gain [View article]
I own PSEC, PNNT, MCC, and TCRD and am losing my pants with each of them. I am holding them with the hope that dividends will help recover some of my losses. OK, this interest rate hike rumor has been around for almost 3 years now, and by this time BDCs and mREITS should have absorbed the effect of the hike rumors since they have lost so much value. Why do they still keep losing each time the rumor machine is activated?

  • Avoid Turkey's Stock Market, But Its Bonds May Be Worth A Look [View article]
Turkey is sliding into a despotic dictatorship under Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He has polarized the country into two camps with irreconcilable world views. His regime is full of graft, corruption and bribery besides being oppressive. He is masterfully creating and using divisive issues almost on a daily basis; the country may face a civil war in the near future. I would not invest in government bonds unless they and their interest rates are dollar denominated. Investing in bonds with the Turkish Lira will be a recipe for loss because high inflation and unavoidable devaluations of lira will wipe out any gains. If you have risk appetite, satisfy it elsewhere where there is political stability, transparency and accountable leadership.

  • BDC Total Returns Q1 2015: Part 2 [View article]
Thanks, Buzz and commentators. If I understand you PSEC, MCC and a few other BDCs are low quality and we should probably sell them if we own them. However, other analyses and analysts list these losers as "strong buys" or "buy first". What gives?

  • Turkey briefly bans Twitter, YouTube over hostage crisis [View news story]
Turkey is a dictatorship and has been so increasingly in the past decade. Freedom and democracy loving foreign investors should stay away from Turkey. Plus, it is just risky to do business in a country whose president is a thief, bribe-taker, liar, and a megalomaniac, supported by 50% of people as shown in recent elections.

  • Samsung S6 Will Keep Up Competition With Apple [View article]
Another Apple-bashing article. This is how some writers and Apple haters make their living. My first and only smartphone is an iPhone 5, which I have been using for two years now. And, I have used it all over the world without any problem. The only issues my family members experienced with their iPhones and iPads resulted from our grand children dropping them and shattering the screens. Let every consumer buy and use the gadget he/she likes, Apple's or somebody else's. We do not need self-appointed, biased experts to tell us what to buy.

  • EM fund managers choose India, shun Turkey [View news story]
Good decision. Turkey has now become a dictatorship, and the megalomaniac Erdogan is its dictator. I would not put any penny in Turkish stocks until after June elections. Even then, it will depend on whether or not Erdogan's grip on power will continue.

  • Zacks' Bear Of The Day: Turkcell [View article]
What is hurting Turkcell and Turkish Lira is the corrupt dictator Recep Tayyip Erdogan who puts his nose into every aspect of life in Turkey. His repeated attacks at the chairman of the Central Bank, even accusing him of treason, for not lowering interest rate are wreaking havoc on the Lira and markets. Yes, foreign investor should get out or stay on sidelines until after the dust of the election in June settles.

  • Apple: In The Smartphone Race, Samsung Has Already Lost [View article]
Who gives you the right to insult Apple customers? Go to Stanford, Harvard, MIT, and other world-renowned universities and see whose product their professors and students are using. You are the first to call them "naive sheep customers". Customers buy and use Apple products because they are superior in quality, function and design to those offered by Apple's competitors. I have used Apple and Windows laptops in the past 5 years; I will pay 5 times more for an Apple MacBook Pro or Air without hesitation.

  • Apple Lays The Runway To $150 [View article]
I ignore those phony stories about Apple going bust. I learned it my lesson. I sold my Apple shares based on fear a few year ago; I still regret. I had bought them at $122-140, sold at $250. Imagine where I would be now If I still had them. I re-entered last year and bought another 100 shares at $105 a few weeks ago. I will keep adding if there comes another dip.
