  • Apple Officially Breaks Out [View article]
It is an easy drop to 565 for a bunch of reasons. I would buy there, but there is way better stuff. Samsung just blew the roof off with chip sales. They aren't a one dimensional touch appliance shop though.

If the 6 doesn't sell a lot higher, margins will be slammed. Look at the manufacturing and yield issues, and touchscreen microcontroller issues.

  • Watch The Gap: Apple's Long And Twisted Pricing Journey [View article]
I just think that it is the biggest fantasy to believe that margins on this stuff won't dive like something missing in the Indian Ocean. If you really must buy, get it near the imminent test of 565. But don't hold it here. Those of you that believe in stable future margins should look at what 370s passengers assumed about safety.

  • iPads And Tablet Growth [View article]
It is premature to make observations like this, especially if things like my 2000 dollar Dell Ultrabook with SSD and everything get cheaper. Post PC is a misnomer. Convergence is the context for this analysis. Margins will go subzero when the predatory pricing in this space peaks. I have 4 MacBooks here, several i5s units etc. Apple stuff is grossly overpriced even for power users.

  • How Will Apple's Stock Split Impact Its Shareholders? [View article]
I would like amplification on the reasons for the option opinion, given that the strike resolution will drop. That is just for starters.

Apple was cheap before the report, and it remains cheap for many reasons.

As the article clearly states, there is extremely limited credible sustainable substance to this report. I was not surprised in the least by any details.

  • Apple: What Do The Bears Say Now? [View article]
The bleak perpetual model hasn't changed in the least. The iPhone ASP fragility is still there more than any analyst knows, the same way there was little knowledge of today's results.

  • Why Apple Is Heading To $700 [View article]
Buying your own stock like crazy, and returning to your innovation roots? What is wrong with this picture. The right innovation would supplant other companies with a trillion in revenue. Why can't Apple see it? Maybe they are too busy studying furniture options for their new headquarters.

  • A Sneak Peek At Apple's Earnings [View article]
My view is that flat earnings with soon to be nonexistent margins, and fairly rapid cash burn, plus very little engineering prowess is a disaster already happening.

  • Could Guru Fund Managers Be Right On Apple Again? [View article]
The stock is cheap for more than one reason. The one we need analysis on is the CEO in contrast to Jobs, coupled with declining engineering prowess and declining relative value of all touch appliances in the consumer consumption universe. I still remember when a trillion dollar Cisco market cap was a supposed slam dunk. LOL....
