  • Apple: Tim Cook's Brilliant Move [View article]
Is it possible that Apple Sandbagged their guidance so that the stock would go down and they would have a BIG buying opportunity before these "new" products come online and the stock goes back above $600? If you take that thought it instills more faith that they have something really big coming. ....

  • Apple: Don't Panic [View article]
Great article and agree with you completely. I don't think iTV is the answer, but the iWatch is. I really believe it will be something that will surprise everyone. It will be that new gadget that we did not know we needed. I am thinking health monitoring that will change how we live day to day. It will be a must have.

  • Samsung Galaxy Gear May Change The Apple iPhone Release Story [View article]
Was Apple first to create a Digital Music Player? No.
Was Apple the first to create a smartphone? NO.
Was Apple first to create a tablet? NO.

Are seeing a trend here??? They are never first but always the best. Same will happen with Smart Watches, Galaxy Gear looks like every other smart watch out there. If they wanted to impress they should have made it with biometrics and sleeker. Gear was rushed to market, no doubt.

  • Add Brian White to the growing list of Apple (AAPL -1.3%) fans who think a bigger iPhone is needed. "We are being told that the minimum size needed by Apple is a 4.5-inch display on the iPhone; however, a 5-inch to 5.5-inch would be optimal," writes the Topeka analyst after talking with Chinese/Taiwanese suppliers. Also: Cowen sees more room for iPad growth in the U.S., citing encouraging survey data, and BTIG's Walter Piecyk, who recently upgraded Apple, thinks a new capital-allocation plan will be timed to coincide with a downbeat FQ2 report (results are due on April 23). [View news story]
I disagree. There is no way that some will have an ipad mini as their only phone. Some women maybe because they could keep it in their purse, but no man could carry around an Ipad mini as a phone. You have both that use the same phone number... somehow.

    it should be this simple,

    iPhone 5 - 4 inches
    iPhone 6 - 4.5 inches
    iPhone 6+ - 5 inches
Ipad Mini - phone capable through Bluetooth, speaker or headphones.

    Done.
    How hard is that?

  • Apple (AAPL -1.4%) could strike iRadio deals with Warner Music and Universal within the next week, CNET's Paul Sloan reports. He adds Apple's service will provide studios with fresh monetization options, such as a cut of audio ad revenue and an option for users to buy songs they're listening to. In-line with earlier reports, Apple is said to be baking in unique features, such as "the ability to jump back to the beginning of a song." Last week, The Verge reported Apple is shooting for a summer launch, while noting the music industry has a "love-hate relationship" with Pandora (P -3.6%). [View news story]
    Agreed.

  • Apple (AAPL +1.7%) rallies as the Street takes the launch of Samsung's (SSNLF.PK) Galaxy S IV, which has an impressive spec sheet but has seen mixed early reviews, in stride. Apple's sell-side fans are circling the wagons, with Gene Munster comparing the S IV to an 'S' iPhone launch. Nomura is less sanguine: noting the popularity of bigger displays and stating its checks indicate a bigger iPhone won't arrive in 2013, it thinks Samsung could overtake Apple in high-end smartphone shipments this year on the back of 35M-40M S IV and Note sales per quarter. [View news story]
I would be more worried if I was an Android phone than apple. Nothing revolutionary that will take away from apple. Either you want refinement like a Mercedes Benz or your want a Ford Expedition.

  • Over 40B apps have now been downloaded from the App Store, and nearly 20B were downloaded last year, Apple (AAPL) declares. The company adds developer payouts have topped $7B, and that there are over 500M active iTunes accounts (very useful for a mobile payments solution if Apple ever wants to launch one). The App Store still has a big edge on Google Play when it comes to app monetization, though the latter has been growing faster lately. [View news story]
Only 20 Billion this year???? They guy down the street that twirls signs had predicted three trillion. SELL SELL....
