Splits don't change the value but how would this benefit them in any way?

  • Apple's $1,000 A Share Solution  [View article]
Good read! I'm an artist like Fred and I know that the startup market is booming right now. I can definitely see their stock rising to 700 again at least after release of AppleTV. With the amount of app companies now pulling serious venture capital, a new platform for developers could be revolutionary. I've also heard reports of a new iTunes radio platform to be introduced, yet considering the unimpressive features like "ping" and "genius" it may not introduce any new market value. However I have been unhappy with Apple's performance lately. The release of iPad Mini didn't seem to run IOS 6, the unexpected bugs in the new maps app, and missed delayed launch date for iTunes 11 leaves me uninspired with the current 513 share. With a probable 2013 tax hike approaching and the goal for Apple to have USA production isn't looking swell for increased dividends.
