IT- Yeah I didn't buy any. But that's supposed to be the cheaper stuff and it's selling for $28.50! I was looking on ebay and other sites and the prices for ASEs are still $30-$40. Provident had some for $29 which is amazing nowadays.
I've been hearing complaints from a lot of people about the 90% coins wearing down. Also I wanted to get the Panda coins just for heck of it until I found out they are NOT 1 troy ounce of silver.

Interesting times- The local coin shop here doubled its price over spot for generic rounds, of which they had 5 left yesterday... I've been noticing a total disconnect between the spot price and the market price of an ounce of silver.

I hope Apple will raise their dividend but I honestly don't know. They have no history and are legendary about keeping us in the dark.
Another hesitation I have about this being a long term hold (10+ years) is the fact that it is a technology stock, it isn't food or utilities. I can just not buy an ipad but I can't refuse to pay my power bill.
I may be getting too picky but regardless of the above cautions it's too dern cheap so I'm long AAPL

I also would like a further explaination of the massive payout ratios. It seems like I've heard of telecom doing this but I've never quite grasped it.
