  • Key Market-Moving Events For The Week Of June 16-21: Dollar Yen Edition [View article]
Good article. Your writings are becoming a must read for people who put their 2 cents in the market every day and roll the dice (sometimes they get lucky) i.e., active traders. Your thoughts on how long this dollar/yen situation is going to last. As you know a lot of asset managers have lost money on it. When those people will be gone then, this correlation may not last.

  • Key Market Moving Events For The Week Of June 10-14 [View article]
What was your thought process when you did not close SPY short positions on Thursday around noon?
Was it the expectations that it is a break down and S&P will go to 1580 or lower than that?
Was it human emotions had taken over and unable to hit the sell button on the keyboard?

  • Why The Sell-Off In Stocks May Be Just Getting Started [View article]
It is a news driven market. Everybody has a finger on sell button. It is a trader driven market. No body wants to keep a position for a weekend. I agree with Rich W., to buy some puts on TLT and GLD which is at 130!! and gold gained $60 in a day. EXTREME fear is prevailing.

  • Bottoming Out, Not Armageddon [View article]
    Dear Mr. Bouroudjian:

I was looking at the headlines of your last few articles. It was an education to read your articles. Like 'Ignore the Eurozone's problems', 'Feeling uncertain? Joint the Club', Hang On: This isn't 2008'. Needless to say that your judgement was not up to mark. I don't know how you can make money with this kind of judgement. I enjoy your guest appearances on CNBC. I hope you will stay on CNBC and see your next article on seeking alpha in 2020.

  • Panic Subsiding: Look for a Risk-On Rally [View article]
If you look at VIX on Friday. It went back to 36 instead of coming down!!
    This is troublesome.

  • Momentum in the NASDAQ 100: Green Light for the Summer Rally [View article]
Agree with pomchew. This so called rally for about 7-9 days will go in history books as fake head. The market went up very fast and it will fall very hard. It is a good time to stay in cash or short 10%. Soon we will test the 200 DMA in the next couple of weeks. Good luck.

Sorry for an in an inaccuracy in above comment. On June 3, 2011 Dow lost 97.29 points on closing on coming out of non farm payroll. In July 2011 on non farm payroll it was down 62.29 at closing.

  • Bull or Bear Market? July Sets Up to Be the Ultimate Test [View article]
Good article. Nothing is mentioned about high frequency trading, manipulation by big players and their effect on market movements. For example, Non farm payroll was bad in June 11 and market had lost 300 points. We got worse report and market had lost only 60 points!! What I am saying that besides technical factors and macro economics the third dimension in these studies that should be included is high frequency trading, dark pools and POMO programs. They have an important effect on stock market. Especially in low volume environment.

  • Weighing the Week Ahead: Lurching From One Crisis to Another [View article]
I agree with Rich W. It was simply a short covering low volume rally. Smart money is on the side lines. Next two weeks will see the REAL fireworks. Jeff is a gentleman and he is saying in his nice way, don't play with fire.

  • Weighing the Week Ahead: Fears Worse Than Fundamental Conditions [View article]
If S&P breaks the support of 1250 and it goes down to lets say 1025-1075 range and forward looking indicators looks bad. What will be price of commodities including Gold and Silver at that time. Lets me say in time frame of next 3-4 months. Any thoughts on Feds action regarding QE III or any other type of QE.
Enjoy your articles. Keep up the good work.

This article should have been published about two weeks ago!!! SA is too late in publishing this nice literary gem. I wonder the esteemed author would have the same thoughts about 2-3 weeks ago.
