  • Is It Time To Take Profits And Sell Apple Stock? [View article]
unless youre entire retiremement depends on how well AAPL does, you shoulnd't sell it and take the hit on taxes... its best to HOLD it forever as a safety net, pass it on to your heirs and the cost basis is forgiven... otherwise, youll take a 20-30% loss with the taxes. AAPL is an investment, not a trade. if you MUST trade it, then trade it in a Roth IRA where there is no capital loss/gain taxes

  • How The Non-Subsidy Model Benefits AT&T And Apple [View article]
What I cant figure out is after twenty months, does the customer own the phone or not? What if they want to jump ship and leave ATT and go to another carrier... do I own the phone, or am I just leasing it? What happens if I break the phone... is it like a car where I must pay for insurance each month?

  • Doubling Down On Apple [View article]
this is tough. AAPL is already 30% of total portfolio as I kept buying on its way to $405 last year. I accumulated too much and I need to stop buying on these dips.

  • Apple's China Mobile Problem [View article]
your article is overly pessimistic and speculative. The stock had no problem blowing past $600-$700 long before the words "China Mobile" were ever mentioned. There are plenty of catalysts in the short term to continue its push upwards. The consensus is this will be a huge quarter for $AAPL with the popularity of the 5s and iPad Air, meanwhile macs have gained more market share over windows PCs. There are plenty of refreshed products out there now, and 1-2 new and innovative products to be annoumnced/released in 2014. $528 seems overly pessimistic and falling below that just doesnt make sense for this stock... AAPL still has a 14 P/E which is below the SP Average and even more "cheap" when compared to the average tech stock P/E. I'd expect to see more buy backs and dividend increases coming in 2014 as well.

Finally, these comments about "there is no China mobile deal" is the typical posturing often seen from the Chinese culture. the deal is on. the stock is fine.

  • Apple's CEO Discusses F2Q13 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
Almost EVERY sentence in the transcription had errors. it was as if English was the 2nd language of the transcriber. horrible job. as for AAPL, it was a "really good terrible quarter". just be patient, the new products are coming. the stock buy back will float the share price. ride the nice dividend for the rest of the year.

  • Apple Earnings Preview: Playing The Analyst Game [View article]
If youre not buying a stock that earns $10 a share that has $140 Billion in unspent cash with a P/E of 8 then youre crazy. The big money will be buying this stock so quickly again that it will be too late for the rest of us to get in. ive been buying on the way down and ill continue to do so.

  • Apple Earnings Preview: Playing The Analyst Game [View article]
its extremely short short sighted to put so much emohasis and "concern" when a stock like Apple "dissapoints" one quarter or two. clearly, a company as significant as Apple knows more about Apple than any "analysts" or day traders who think their opinion is more important and never have the full picture.
