I have been trading since 2009. I have learned alot over the past 4 years. Buying and shorting are really all i need. There is a mix of knowledge between technicals and fundamentals. I will quote George Soros for the pure definiitions. "Technical analysis, studies market pattenrs and the demand and supply of stocks. It has undobted merrit in predicting probabilities but not the actual course of events. It has little theorehtical foundations other than the assertions on stock prices based on supply and demand. The past is relevant on predictiong the future." Fundamentals, "is more interesting because it is an outgrowth of eqilibrium theory. Stocks are suppose to have a true or fundamental value as distinct from their current market price the fundamental value of the stock may be defined in relation to the power of the underlining assets or in relation to the fundamental value of other stocks. Either way the market price of an underlining stock is suppose to tend towards its fundamental value over a period of time." Both Technicals and fundamentals are used for specific reasons of course. They help you "feel the pulse of the market as if you were a dr. with thier patient" - Dickson G Watts. Baruch and Livermore. Always make your profits out way your loses. Always cut your losses and let your profits run. We as "investors" fail to understand the rules that are already created by the giants. Simple tools that increase your capital gains over your losses. Which in turn enhances your ablity to advanced net worth. The idea of working for 20yrs or more is exhausting. I plan to continue developing a system for eary retirement and a life full of wonder and adventure. I wonder, are there others who are studying the great investors of the past? Does anyone else follow the rules of speculation? Or are all naive, deaf dumb and blind to the minds of giants. Amazing how we americans put a majority into a retirement account we dont even understand. That is why i have deveolped a system that breaks investments down only to shed light to how it works. How capital is created and how to truly make money make money. Without taxes from brokers and fees upon fees upon fees. Well i can truly go on for days. I constantly fill spirals full of these never ending thoughts. But one thing is true, i am a sound investor.
