    Nickster 2000 said it well. This appears to a fee machine for transfer of wealth to management's pockets. The same article as this could have been written a year or two ago and look at the dismal results for shareholders since then. Avoid.

    When I read about Hartford Financial Preferred Series F on Quantumonline it seems to say that it is mandatorily convertible into common at specified ratios depending on the price of Hartford Financial common on the call date. You don't automatically get $25 a share when it is called. If Hartford Financial's common share price is close to what it is today (about $21), it looks like you would receive considerably less than $25. Am I missing something here??
