Herb is right and of course, Cramer, as always, is wrong. GMCR sold their life to the dark side long ago and Lavazza's "investment" when this "earnings machine" was out of cash (again) was the beginning of the end. Insider selling ahead of public news known by insiders was defined by these hillbillies. Sam caught these crooks long before anyone else. When will the SEC wake up? I can assure it will be long before Cramer does. Chances are Cramer would be hitting the buy, buy, buy as GMCR is filing bankruptcy on the courthouse steps.

Finally someone who agrees with me! Cramer tried his hand at managing money and failed miserably. Treating his comments as the inverse indicator has worked for me MANY times. Remember when he was bullish on GMCR? Cramer is just a loud mouth who will say anything he is told to for a $. The stocks he is saying sell are buys and the stocks he wants you to buy are sells. Very common for him. SBUX? CMG for crying out loud? Someone should put clips together of his "buy, buy, buy" on GMCR and the hundred other horrible the date of hitting his buttons and the results. He is almost always wrong and by a huge margin. Buy TEO all day long and buy Argentina stocks.....for no reason other than Cramer said not to.

GMCR should be back on the short list after cooking up some "earnings" in the last Q. Cash flow is the key to any stock story and this company has negative (very negative) cash flow.

NFLX is going to lose money all year so agree that it is a short.

JCOM is cooking some aquisitions and non-gaap figures into making a bad story look better.

It is safe to assume that J Cramer is in love with all 3 (until they go down and he says he was short them).

HUSA is another I keep an eye on and it is just plain funny. $3 million in cash and 4 employees (1 a full time drunk) but the market values it at $300+ million. Short it, short is some more and then keep shorting it. Cover when the stock gets to a cash valuation of $3 million.

Do you seriously not believe CharlieTav that the SEC investigation which has been ongoing since Sept 2010 could "materially change the future value of the stock"? These "boy scouts" and "girl scouts" can't unload at their shares at the then current price of $100/share fast enough so clearly they see that a material change in the future value may be coming.

The only real accounting issue you need to look at to worry about future value is the negative cash flow AND seriously low cash on the balance sheet. Forget all about the SEC and insider's running to be the first at the sell window and just look at those 2 glaring figures.

Only Cramer could love GMCR and I think he does.

  • UBS Thinks These 20 Tech Stocks Will Outperform [View article]
The ticker maniacs just keep pumping out junk even in the new year. AOL????? Seriously?????? It was only down 5.8% on Friday. Could someone from Kap publish a list of how many symbols you have posted for readers to go research in the last year? I am thinking it might be close to all of them. It is like Cramer rolling symbols off his tongue 100 times a night. Something has to eventually be right.

  • Is Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Under Formal Investigation? [View article]
Tigerpac.....dude seriously, the best you can come up with to defend this disaster known as GMCR is that he didn't want to write about them and now has done so 4 times.

Let's compare that to how many time the guys and girls running this disaster (i.e. insiders) have bellied up to the sell window while "they didn't want to". 12 million shares in the last quarter and more than that the quarter before. Your fearless leaders left you at $90-110 shares and unloaded over $100 million in stock "while they didn't want to". Maurice, "nor anyone else knows the answer to" is missing the idea that insiders know and have shown you the answer 12 million times this quarter.

Gary is write to question and wonder when the SEC will finish these guys off. My guess is that 2012 will be the year GMCR becomes the next Enron or Worldcom or..............

  • Using Options To Protect Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Investment [View article]
When I think of GMCR I think of cooking the books, insider selling and SEC investigation. The last thing I think of is recurring revenue (other than that double counted by the accountants at GMCR). The only option you need is a PUT and LOTS of them.

  • Green Mountain Coffee Roasters May Have Peaked [View article]
GMCR should have peaked back at $30 given the only thing cooking at this company is the books. Insiders can't sell fast enough and the SEC is far from finished.

SucStox why so quiet? GMCR has been starting to get kicked where it hurts and had to sell another part of the business to fund their "earnings" growth. You "simply" can't handle the truth! Wahahahahhaahh

Congratulations on your profits and there is no doubt they have been there to be made. You "see no evidence that time (to sell) is now?????". The insiders see the evidence because they are selling in record amounts. An active SEC investigation is "scuttlebutt" to you??????? and not a threat???????? The company restated 3 years of false accounting to hope (in their own press release) that the SEC would go away. They haven't. Insiders are selling in droves because they know what will happen when the SEC acts. It takes years for them to act and we just past the 1st year but they don't formalize for no reason and if they were happy with the restatement they would have left then. I agree you are an amateur if you believe THIS management is running a very good company just because the share price went crazy. Enron got a baseball stadium named after them and share price that looks a lot like this one before no one was left to hear the hammer drop.

Omg this is funny. The lady looking for "credibility" back tracks on the only statement made to date which was "I bought shares in 1999" and now attempts to use some hypothetical using the date of first board post.
I really thought you might hike your skirt up and actually cause me to never post again but NO. You are busted as full of bull as expected.
You definitely owe me nothing but "I want the truth and you can't handle the truth".
My agenda has never been plainer. Discuss what a piece of crap GMCR is as a company and overpriced stock. Plain and simple. Discuss facts like insider dumping, SEC investigation ongoing and restated "earnings" already. Little lady, that isn't bashing that is just discussing the facts. The value of the stock has no ingredient for how much you like the taste or what price or date you bought it. I remind you again that many people made millions of $'s on Enron, Worldcom and others before they went to zip. This stock has to keep raising cash to afford the amount of "earnings" they are ballooning to. Cash flow is horrible which tells you all you need to know about this "earnings machine". While you are out here singing like a church lady about all the great GMCR the insiders who run the company are selling in record #'s. FACT. The company restated 3 years of stuffed earnings and the SEC didn't close their investigation. FACT. Class Action lawsuits are lined up 50 deep and the legal expense is over $5 million per month to defend them all started by an insider who called it as he saw it. FACT. This game is far from over and you simply need to sit back and learn.
