  • Update: Cellceutix's Antibiotic Brilacidin Should Move Share Price Before Kevetrin Or Prurisol [View article]
I think the company's product pipeline is interesting, but not sure of the management. Up until recently, it was a two man show....which is never a good sign.

  • Huge Opportunities Are Now Possible Due To Market Inefficiencies In Valuing Antibiotic Companies Such As Cubist, Durata, And Cellceutix [View article]
CTIX volume picking up, product pipeline looks superior to competition. ?uplisting to a major stock exchange. Having said that, the management n=2. If they have scientists working for them, they should be listed and if not paid in cash are they being paid in stock?

Interesting statement by Leo. Still no proof that any of the drugs work and if they do, they have an acceptable side effect profile.

I would remain on the sidelines until they get listing with a major stock exchange.

New contracts in India and Iraq over the weekend. Furthermore a consideration by Nokia may help boost current stock price, especially to fend off competition from Cisco. ALU is making progress.

    Long ALU.

  • BlackBerry cancels FQ2 CC [View news story]
At one hand Watsa was fully aware of the financial situation before stepping down and therefore made sure BBRY drove down the price by announcing their guidance and then bid a little over that, while on the other hand he is to rake it $157million plus if BBRY went with another offer. The small investors can go *&^% themselves.

People talk about they legacies...BBRY will be taught at every major institution in their economic, accounting and financial class, with the title 'How not to run a company'.

  • BlackBerry: This Is Just Plain Ugly [View article]
Is it really immaterial to Heins? If he arranges for the company to be sold, does he not get a large ($25 million) pay out?

  • Reports: Lazaridis weighing bid for BlackBerry [View news story]
Of those a great majority bought a legacy device (BB7), not their new product line (BB10). To put it into perspective, imagine as if Apple launched the iPhone 5S and a great majority went out and bought the 4S instead. Doesn't show much confidence in the new product line. BB is dead.

I think Mr Heins is performing the same role as Mr Elop in the case of Nokia. Mr Heins is the mole who was introduced because they forced Lazaridis out and he is making sure the price drops enough for Lazaridis to buy it outright. Talk about corporate espionage!!

  • Reports: Lazaridis weighing bid for BlackBerry [View news story]
BB is not worth more than $5. Did you see their attempted launch of BBM for android and iOS. Its halted (just like their stock was) because they couldn't iron out the bugs when more than anticipated users signed up!! Typical of BB...tout & shout for months on end and when it comes time to info, complete silence. For a communications company, not communicating is the norm....and people still say they never thought this would happen

  • BlackBerry plunges 20% [View news story]
If this is BB way of giving guidance then good grief! Just pathetic management for the investors, excellent for TH. He gets a large bonus if the company is sold off. As always, screwing your investors and users.

  • BlackBerry's Spiral Into Oblivion Is Accelerating [View article]
BBM will survive...a few months, maybe...until a competing service comes along and then no one uses it....LIKE NOW! Blackberry never got to the pulse of the market. Lived in a bubble and the bubble has burst and now they on the floor begging for someone to pick them up. Not gonna happen. Investors lost big time. The people who bought a device will see it becomes useless as there will be no support. A complete RIM job.

This is what happens when there is clause in the CEO sign-on agreement: 'if you sell the company before leaving, you will get a multi-million dollar bonus.'

Happened at Nokia. History repeating itself... TH was never interested in reviving the company. Makes me question the integrity of the board of directors at these companies.
