Twitter in talks with Stripe to allow purchasing using Twitter app!

Holy cow this is huge. Imagine using your mobile and Tweet you get a deal pop up for a store you walked past using GPS locators in the phone. OY VAY THIS IS GOING TO THE STARS!

25% off a pizza and drink go to Louie's now (you just walked past it a sec ago)...

Great analysis, picks up on key points. I like the train analogy - Tesla, Amazon and Netflix also great examples of momentum plays which defy simpler analyses. Twitter clearly in the same class and headed for triple digits quickly.

  • Why Twitter Will Definitely, Surely, Assuredly, Certainly Not Be Trading At $70 When Q3 2014 Starts [View article]
I'm in long calls and have done well thus far. Twitter is ranked 12th in the earth and 9th in the US for web traffic. It's also a media and celeb darling. Up on enthusiasm alone.

This is true... I mentioned a lucrative idea years ago to a friend who knows people at Google... guess what ? The next week Google had added instant phone dialing to their search results page! Wish I had a piece of that pie now...

NFLX, AMZN and other cult stocks have no reason to be flying either... it's name brand recognition that brings these up, but hey why not ride the bird?

  • 7 Take-Aways From A Fireside Chat With Twitter's CEO [View article]
OK here's an idea for TWTR to capitalize on Google Glass... since Twitter is all about celebs wanting to bask in their fanbase numbers, imagine Twitter video feeds hooked up to Google Glass. So you have Lady Gaga waking up, putting on her Google Glass and then setting out on a shopping trip. The possibilities are endless... Twitter feeds the video of her shopping trip to millions of followers, while tiny ads pop up periodically offering sales links to the very stores she is visiting, using GPS-location sensor data. That will make Twitter a 1000-dollar stock overnight. Go get 'em Mr. Dorsey!
Where will these billions watch their favorite celebrity feed?
Twitter will be huge once the Smart Watch catches on. With Apple’s iWatch and Samsung’s smart watch’s small screens doing a one-up on even mobiles for conservation of space, Twitter will prove to be golden. What is more suited than the king of brevity once the world takes to smart watches? Taking your cell out of your pocket is going to be as cumbersome as porting a laptop used to be once smart watches are in vogue. No one better poised to capitalize than Twitter… especially enticing will be the interface between TV/movies on smartwatches and Twitter. Also video calling via Twitter on smart watches… who knows what genius is cooking up over at R&D now that 2 billion in IPO funding is sitting on Jack Dorsey’s desk?
