I have been investing for about 20 years, putting all my excess money to work. After earning an MBA from Columbia University for Finance and International Business, I skipped Wall Street and managed businesses in far away places in Europe, Asia, Australia, and Latin America. Africa and the land of Penguins are 2 continents I have not worked in. Many of my school mates did take the route to Wall Street and an occasional one pops up on CNBC, self promoting and front running one of their ideas. I just feel that they add no net value to society, producing nothing. I am just a regular investor, looking to provide a comfortable post retirement lifestyle, put the kids through school, pay my taxes, and depend on no one. Currently separated principal to 5 portfolio's; 401K, ETFs, individual stocks, IRA, and recently added an Options account (to apply options arbitrage theory from my school days). Want to build out a base so the returns of my portfolio will support my post retirement.
