  • Enthusiasm over SodaStream continues [View news story]
joelkatz, i can say that if you look at the timestamps the first three posts were posted without knowledge of the others...secondly I'm not sure what your post adds to the discussion either so your venting is ironic

  • WSJ: Amazon launching streaming set-top for holidays [View news story]
I am thinking this could be a nearly free device with ads or something...they also May package prime with it to make it more likely to appear cheap. Good idea by amazon in my opinion...especially if they ever make it easier to use their movie catalog

  • EPO Filing Is Devastating For Universal Display Corp. [View article]
While I appreciate all the comments regarding this posters continual banal push to make money out of his articles I also would love to remind everyone that when this authors posts it is a great day to buy shares. I wish I was not in a full position on this stock already. For people who just got in these things are hard to swallow but if you don't get scared and are well informed (comments on articles like this are chock full of knowledgeable counter-arguments) then you can get great prices on growth stocks. If the price gets down to the high 28's again I may have to buy. Keep riding this one guys. It will be bumpy though thanks to the weasels.

  • SodaStream Past, Present And Future [View article]
If they reach stated goals for the next three years the stock could easily double from the current position, and that is if p/e ratio's remain around or under growth expectations. If the general market latches on to the story instead of continuing to call it a fad then p/e ratios could easily elevate to 35-50 based on other similar growth stock ratios. I am not saying this will happen, just that SODA has been relatively cheap for the last two years and in some sense the price is catching up with the potential.

thanks for the article, i agree with your thesis about sodastream and find it to be a compelling investment still. I have been in since May 2012 and think that the investment over the next 3 years will be a strong winner

  • The Realities Behind The Pepsi And SodaStream Rumors [View article]
One note to add is that while the products themselves are "replicable" their CO2 distribution, refill, and disposal network is not.

  • The hot rumor on Tuesday was that Coca-Cola in interested in buying SodaStream (SODA); today's hot speculation is that PepsiCo (PEP) is in negotiations to acquire the Israeli company for $2B or more, well above its market cap of $1.43B. PepsiCo could even be willing to pay as much as $95 a share, or 37% more than SodaStream's close of $69.35 yesterday. However, the latter also wants to check its options with Coca Cola. [View news story]

Good idea! Ultimately this kind of word of mouth is much more valuable to brand than any advertising and though it spreads slower the net effect is much stickier.

  • ExOne: A $15 Stock On Sale For $46 [View article]
The 3d tide is rising and while there will be losers a loser can only go to 0, a winner can go to well...I have no idea. I'm making my own basket of 3d companies through stock purchasing and am happy to hold through market downturns because of the ultimate disruption these companies can cause. Xone being different from DDD and SSYS in my mind is an asset not a liability because it expands the potential market reach of my basket. PRLB fits this too as does ONVO although I'm waiting for them to get further along in their R&D before taking a bite.

Sadly if this true I'm going to lose a great stock but I won't complain too much...but yeah where does this rumor even originate from?
