  • Just Energy's (JE) Co-CEOs Deborah Merril And James Lewis On Q4 2014 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
JE and it's sub Hudson Energy have a parasitic effect on the local community. They offer *sales* positions advertized as *customer service* positions. Of course when one checks, there is no salary, just a commission with most of the first twelve sales commissions going to someone else. That is why they have permanent ad for *customer service*, which is just a revolving door to let in suckers to do sales work long enough to realize they can not survive. Then they quit, JE and Hudson having squeezed any sales they can dirt cheap, and the next sucker is allowed in.

  • Is PLUG Worth Its Price? [View article]
Definition of *mature technology*? *Mature* technology is best defined as that which makes money. PLUG needs to show that when it scales up, the cost to make it's product is less than the cost it sells for.

If adaption to autos, airlines etc can be had with minimal investment then it's *mature*.

The acid test is whether the author's claim of large R and D expenses to make the transition will be true. We saw no reasoning or numbers attached to his statement. It's possible engineer/investor groups answered this keeping the stock price up.
By extension, another part of the definition of *mature* tech is how much a company has to spend in warranty claims. Can PLUG make a more reliable product if it claims the tech behind the product is mature? If not, the only way to make up for the gap is to charge more. I would like to hear opinions on these issues.
