  • Fed's Balance Sheet Hits 25% Of GDP [View article]
Are there any studies to determine how much of QE actually goes into the real economy?

  • Fed's Balance Sheet Hits 25% Of GDP [View article]
RE *That's the size of the Fed's balance sheet in relation to the US GDP. It's gone from 6% in 2008 to 25% in 2015 so 19% in seven years is 2.7% or about 180% of our 1.5% average GDP growth over that time. So all the money being printed by the Fed isn't just responsible for the stock bubble because, without it, we'd still be CONTRACTING!*

Doesn't this statement have a big assumption - that all QE adds to the GDP?

I would guess that someone having a bond paid off would have a mindset of *safe money* with low velocity and would want to put it into other bonds or ETFs' which do not add directly to GDP.

  • Saudi Arabia Is Preparing To Prevent A Spike In The Oil Price [View article]
Snake, you need to realize the next gen technologies for low cost energy storage is here to compliment renewables. Baseload renewable energy is now very affordable.

Companies profiting from next gen storage include Beacon Power with a 25 MW flywheel storage plant up and running for years, Tesla's new batteries from the giga factory and SHEC Energy's CSP heat storage.

Google search prof Marc Z. Jacobson's proposal for a renewable energy based world. Fossil fuels are only kept competitive by the hundreds of billions in corporate welfare received annually across the globe five times the subsidies renewable get.

  • Saudi Arabia Is Preparing To Prevent A Spike In The Oil Price [View article]
There is an emerging model that eliminates fossil fuels with fast renewable energy based charging stations for EV's. UPS Fedex and of course California with Telsa's stations are early examples. The costs for renewables is constantly going down - while the need to eliminate CO2 pollution is constantly increasing. I believe we have seen the inflection point where for most city drivers, factoring in reduced maintenance costs, EV's are simply cheaper.

  • Saudi Arabia Is Preparing To Prevent A Spike In The Oil Price [View article]
RE *However, overall there is little doubt that global oil consumption will rise as a general trend*

There is a risk that electric, renewable energy based motors will steal more of a market share from the internal combustion engine than anticipated.
There is even a change the ICE will eventually not exist.

  • Why Clean Energy Fuels Can Continue Beating The Market Despite Certain Challenges [View article]
Listener, Bob, NG still paying for itself over the long term with your numbers. But when you add cleaner running and the resulting savings in maintenance, repair and costs of downtime, NG is a clear winner. And that is true even at record low diesel fuel prices.

Mikie, don't waste your time with Waterman. He is obviously a paid internet shill for Monsanto. His plan is to offer stupid short responses to anything you say in order to piss you off. Dialogue is no longer the issue. Everyone with morals has a duty to do what they can to destroy Monsanto and to ridicule all their people.
