Jim Cramer's Mad Money In-Depth, 12/22/07: (Soon-to-be) High Five [View article]
SA EDITOR MIRIAM METZINGER Merry Christmas & Healthy New Year to you! It is your job to write a summary of Jim Cramer even though Seeking Alpha is not affiliated with Jim Cramer, CNBC, or The Street .com. Having said that, I have made a New years resolution a week earlier. I am going to keep a list of all the stocks mentioned by Jim Cramer for the next 12 months. I then will publish either the percent of appreciation or depreciation for all to see. There have been some good calls by Jim Cramer for 2007 and many bad ones as well. In fact, the phrase Jim Cramer has stated the most for 2007 is"I MADE A MISTAKE" referring to his stock picks. You see the reason I make mention of this is, many novice investors get caught in the Hype/Touting being over done on his show, and when it hits the pocket of these investors is when someone has to start taking a stand. The well experienced followers of Mr.Cramer, make money immediately after a Tout and then probably shorting the stock down the road, to make money once again. This seems to be the pattern of 2007 in my observation and in my opinion. There have been some similar articles recently written pointing out the same. In conclusion, it would be refreshing Miriam Metzinger of Seeking Alpha, that aside from writing a summary of what 'the gospel is of Jim Cramer nightly', that constructive criticism be apart of your report to the millions of readers of SEEKING ALPHA. Just because Jim has had success, is part of a nightly T.V. show, doesn't mean he is perfect or that he is excluded from influencing through his stature, individuals, funds or groups from finding a 'BULL' Market on a individual stock for profit and is untouchable from a prospective of the law! POWER HAS A STRANGE WAY OF UNSEATING AN INDIVIDUAL FROM HIS THROWN. HISTORY HAS PROVEN THAT MANY TIMES. FROM PRESIDENT'S TO PREACHER'S, SO DON'T BE SURPRISED OF THE EVENTS THAT MAY UNFOLD!
