  • GSEs stress tested [View news story]
Gee, I wonder why the GSE's wouldn't draw on their cash reserves in an emergency. Oh wait, the U.S. Treasury is SWEEPING ALL THE CASH TO IT'S COFFERS! There are no reserves! So much for the Takings Clause in the 5th amendment!

  • BlackBerry launches $2,380 ultra-secure tablet [View news story]
Other than AT&T, how can serious subscribers acquire the new Blackberry handsets? Please don't say amazon or ebay!

What does John Chen know, that EVERYONE else doesn't?

  • Sysco Corporation: The Impact Of The Mega Deal Quantified [View article]
Aside from the country losing one of only two national players - which will result in material price increases to thousands of small businesses, school systems, hospitals, etc. and of course the closing of 40, 50, 60, more? redundant distribution centers and the associated massive job loses due to synergies, plus the extended losses to local community service organizations which support the now closed facilities... this merger will be GREAT for the American public!

  • BlackBerry Q10 Outselling Galaxy S4 At The Leading U.K. Retail Location [View article]
Thanks for the article, especially the intimidation insight. Your comments and a few here certainly offer some reasonable direction behind the conflicting reporting and the low stock price.

BTW, there is an easy fix! On June 27th report strong launch demand and give bullish guidance going forward. Sadly, I don't expect BBRY to do much other than to blow smoke. The investor relations group is useless and the launches of the product to date has been terrible [Why was Alicia Keys tweeting about the Zed from an Iphone agian???]. I am long, but I am long because of the software, the Zed 10, and the Q10. I believe they will succeed despite bbry's management and investor relations best efforts.

  • Positive comments from Thorsten Heins contributed to BlackBerry's (BBRY +6.1%) rebound today. In an interview with Spain's Expansión, Heins suggested the Z10 has seen strong interest from users of rival platforms. The comments come a few days after a BGR report stated 1/2 of Canadian Z10 sales, and 1/3 of U.K. sales, involve converts. (earlier[View news story]
When I reached this Zed 10, the enhanced security of the platform screamed innovation. My gut tells me IT managers are going to love it. BBRY's software1) is starting at the highest level of security offered and they will go up from there, 2) grants IT complete control of proprietary data, complete control, 3) users can split handset between corp and private...

I think the software will be at the heart of BBRY's success and come back.

  • Get Shorty: Analyst Air Crash Investigation Of Flight BlackBerry [View article]
Can't address the short collusion story. But do know this, the liquidation value of this company is about 18. Stephen Weiss spoke about this handset on MSNBC and he stated he really thought it was a solid handset and it excelled at: Corp IT and Security. All I needed to hear. Bought before the launch and had my butt handed to me. So I bought Jan '14 $13 when the stock fell below$13.

Security, the ability to use one handset AND protect company data is HUGE. Corporate America will flock back to bbry. MO.

So how is my trade woiking??? All I can say is: Blackberry is berry, berry, berry, goood to me!
