  • In Defense Of Apple: Battling The Mounting Hysteria [View article]
You are asking Apple to find a way to makes its investors smarter. That would be an effort in futility.

If they can't read and understand the absolutely excellent numbers for Apple, then they are too stupid to understand, that Apple's management is doing a great job. Apple doesn't control the stock market, something Steve Jobs pointed out. He ignored the market, and worked on making Apple the best company on Earth. Cook should do the same.

You are being hysterical over a theoretical number on paper or a digital image on your computer screen. You don't have any real losses until you make an ill advised sale of the stock, at this current price.

  • The Obama administration's decision on the Keystone oil pipeline (TRP) will not be made until at least June, a U.S. official tells Reuters, which would delay the project for months and frustrate backers of Canada's oil sands. "It's not weeks until the final decision," according to the source. "It's months." [View news story]
Isn't it strange that "progressives" are always standing in the way of progress?

  • Energy Secretary Chu's Overdue Departure Could Be Bullish For Natural Gas Transportation [View article]
@fahrender: Since the EPA has admitted that the fracking techniques aren't causing any of the things that you mention, what proof do you have of your assertions?

How will a pipeline that increases the supply of oil, keep the price of oil high and screw the average consumer?

The big picture is that the slim majority, that voted for the affirmative action moron, occupying the White House, screwed the average consumer, by keeping oil scarce and prices high.

Chu is gone, but any Obama appointee that replaces him will be his clone.

Natural Gas is obviously the way to go for US energy independence.

There should be Natural Gas wells off the east coast of the US. Anywhere along the continental shelf, that you drill deep enough will yield Natural Gas. Just need federal permission and auction of the rights, to go ahead. Well, we can dream can't we.

Is it just total incompetence, corruption, or an agenda of the top leadership, to deliberately cripple American's future?

Raising the global supply of oil will lower the price of oil. Prices go up based on scarcity, not abundance.

"It's only a ploy to keep the global price of oil sky high." How idiotic can you be?

  • Apple: The $200 Billion Question [View article]
Apple never advertised that they were cool. People, the market place, determined that for themselves. Samsung advertising their "coolness" is a case of Samsung management believing their own PR releases. When you're cool, other people just know it, you don't have to tell them.

  • Herbalife: Examining FTC Data And Potential Action [View article]
There is no question that Herbalife is a MLM pyramid scheme that defrauds their distributors. It is a criminal business model, that should not be allowed to exist in an honest society. Shares of MLM companies , not just Herbalife, should not be allowed to trade on the nations stock exchanges. They take advantage of people who don't understand the mathematics behind there pyramids frauds. If the government can not protect these people from these criminal frauds, then the government itself is a fraud, working hand in hand with criminal these elements such as Herbalife.

  • The Housing Market "Recovery" Is A Complete Myth [View article]
Great article. One other reason for hidden inventory isn't the homeowners holding out for higher prices, but homeowners who haven't re-listed their property, because after two or three listing in the last four years, they didn't get a nibble.

The biggest offenders holding REO off market are Fanny and Freddy. Four months ago I heard about a Fanny Mae foreclosure on a house that I was interested in, and after four months the same people are still living there. They are claiming that they are now leasing the house from Fanny Mae! I thought it was against Fanny Mae's charter to be a landlord. I really suspect there is some government program behind this, but who knows.

Single family homes is definitely not the place to invest right now, unless you need a place to live.

AAPL has a totally proprietary Ecosystem, that is geared to nothing but making money. FACT!

Stop trolling every AAPL article with your anti-Apple crap. If you're not a shareholder in AAPL, then go away. If you are a shareholder in AAPL, and you are so unhappy, then sell your shares.

China Mobile tried to get Cook to share margins before. He walked. They called him back. So something changed or he wouldn't have gone back to China. The guy's laid back and humble, but not a pushover.
