Dahlman Rose grows more cautious on the fertilizer sector, seeing substantial pressure on nutrients pricing in H1 with nitrogen having the greatest long-term margin risk given capacity additions. The firm cuts Agrium (AGU), CF Industries (CF) and Rentech Nitrogen (RNF) to Sell from Buy, Potash (POT) to Sell from Hold, and Mosaic (MOS) to Hold from Buy. [View news story]
@ Michael Bryant. Careful. It's not structured like most energy MLP's.
(ie; 1.maintaining a minimum distribution. 2. paying out steady dividend increases over time.)
I don't have an opinion on the direction of the price, or whether its a buy or a sell at it's current price.
Oh, and @ Brad K. ; this is not a stock, so just a friendly reminder to file the tax forms correctly.
Airlines get a boost as David Tepper (earlier) argues "the equity is cheap to everything," and the industry has the tailwinds of a strong dollar and "flat" oil prices. DAL +3.5%, UAL +1.2%, LCC +2.8%, LUV +2.2%, SAVE +3%. [View news story]
Teppers fund held 9,818,965 shares of UAL as of last qtrs statement. He's talking his book.
(by the way, he also has 13,603,495 shares of LCC. Two of his top ten holdings are airlines. It's not suprising that if Bloomberg is willing to point a T.V camera at him, that he's going to talk sunshine and rainbows about airline stocks.)
S&P reiterates its Buy rating on General Dynamics (GD -5.3%) as the stock sinks following the crash of one of the company’s Gulfstream jets in a test flight that kills all four people on board. The crash should delay FAA certification of the Gulfstream G650, but the event should prove only "a temporary setback for Gulfstream and GD," S&P writes. [View news story]
@ Herbert Hoover. That's in bad taste. Those were someones family members that died. There are plenty of other news items available to comment on the current market manipulation. Leave this one alone.

@Nigam Arora; crystal's analysis is correct. Additionally, he researched the issue and actually "did" an analysis. When constructing your next "article", following his method would enhance your credibility. As far as shorting CAM; when the report came out Cameron dropped down for about 5 minutes, then climbed right back to where it was trading before the release. Seriously, if your looking for short opportunities, theres much better candidates then oil machinery stocks! (I am not a CAM or any other OIH stock shareholder)
