  • When Should We Aid Detroit? [View article]
Detroit is a nasty old cow. You don't give aid to a diseased, arthritic, dying, cow. You put it down.

  • Market Outlook: The Calm Before The Storm [View article]
Take Five are you serious or just delusional??

Is Detroit's upcoming bankruptcy healthy and normal?? ( I for one think Detroit is Lehman Brothers of 2008)
Is 85 BILLION a month in bond buying healthy and normal??
Is the fact that the majority of new jobs comes from part time work healthy and normal??
Is it healthy and normal that GDP is declining fast and might be a negative print soon??
Europe is a complete dumpster fire and the middle east is on the verge of anarchy. Healthy and normal though, right??

You might want to reconsider your stance on the global economy.

  • Warning: Stocks Likely To Crater From Here [View article]
I must point out that at least 90% of all the articles you have written since 2009 have been "warnings", "why these levels can't hold", "we are in trouble", etc... I think you make some valid points but you have been submitting this same verbiage for 4 years now. Just sayin...

  • The Next Secular Bull Market Is Still A Few Years Away [View article]
Great article and even better charts Lance! Clearly the three blind mice that commented before me are not seeing the signs - or they don't care to, but then again, few are. But those who realize the seriousness won't be caught in the fire.

  • It Feels Like The Dotcom Craze All Over Again [View article]
I said it a couple weeks ago and will say it again... AAPL is doing a bit of foreshadowing in what is to come with this market. It's not a dotcom bubble though, it's a QE, Food Stamp, Unemployment, Higher Taxes, etc... bubble.

  • A New Secular Bull? Don't Count On It [View article]
Some of these "never say die" SA bulls are hilarious.

Yes, I think WheelsComingOff knows more than a Billion dollar private equity group.

The big money is selling into this rally. They understand HOW to make money and create wealth.

And once stocks do make the final leg down, large CASH reserves will be key (AS ALWAYS) to creating wealth. Ask the Billion dollar equity groups. Or listen to SA bulls.

  • Can The Rally Continue? [View article]
You claim the negatives are "priced in". I say the market has been shrugging them off for the last 6 months while climbing a wall of worry. You cannot honestly tell me that big institutional investors are comfortable in this thing. I highly doubt those guys even have 10% remaining in the market.

  • Caterpillar (CAT -0.5%) will layoff 11% of its workforce at a Decatur, Illinois factory. The company said the move to eliminate 460 jobs is necessary "to bring production in line" with softening demand for mining equipment. [View news story]
I'm thinking there will be more to come at additional factories other than Illinois. Guess you get what you ask for when you vote democrat... a slow, bleeding economy. SMH...

  • Is The S&P 500 Doomed After Topping 1,700? [View article]
    Reason number 4: Obamacare

    Reason number 5: U.S. Unsustainable debt/default

Reason number 6: QE... are we on 6 or 7?

Reason number 7: GDP is trending DOWN

Reason number 8: Detroit bankrupt- and more cities to come! yippee!

    Reason number 9: Europe

Reason number 10: Middle East/ This could be the MOST serious of all

    Reason number 11: China

Reason number 12: Banks and Derivatives

Reason number 13: All the above and more

But I'm sure you're right, that wall of worry we keep climbing is completely normal, no big deal at all. FORWARD.
