  • My Failure With Peabody Which Has Become A Speculative Position [View article]
Ok, I took the bait. Those who believe this climate change crap are morons. (Not that I'm calling you one, I do not know your true beliefs). The earth climate is ALWAYS in a state of flux and little ole you and me are not that important to it in the grand scheme of things. These esteemed execs that you speak of just go with the path of least resistance. They are not allknowing paragons of brilliance.

  • Is The Middle Class On A Sinking Ship? No Economic Good Times For Them Or Their Retirement [View article]
Benny- I thought of you when I saw this. In July, Paul Singer wrote in his newsletter that "substantial inflation" is occurring throughout our economy that the fed is failing to recognize or acknowledge. Coming from a guy who has done way better than you or I combined, I guess I'd be content with him agreeing with my original statement. http://bloom.bg/1wegvHG

Inflation is in the cost of things we use- food, energy, healthcare, education, etc. It is not in wages as you say. However, I would consider inflation to be more than just "little bubbles here and there". It is a crushing burden on the middle class that is driving it towards a lower standard of living as sooner or later, the credit bubble will burst again.

  • Gold Manipulation: What Investors Should Do Now [View article]
James - I normally like your work but you are wrong here. I don't know if it's because I just came off a long work weekend but for whatever reason, this is as far as I could read without popping off. Your counterarguments are shallow. You noticably have avoided the blaringly obvious question of why somebody is making massive abrupt sales of gold in the early wee hours when trading is thin. Why would someone do this??? Why would they not try to get the best price they could by dribbling out the sales so as not to move price against themselves? As for "breaking the law", some would point out the MF Global mess as a place to maybe look.

Only 2 1/2 years till we're rid of this central planning dictatorial marxist Manchurian man that is grinding the US economy into the dirt. Be it coal, healthcare, the military, etc- everything he targets turns to a trail of debris. It's funny how we cannot affect some things but we are totally affecting the climate. Weak science propounded by weak minds.
