  • Canada's government says it is aware hackers breached security at a domestic manufacturer of software used by big energy companies, but decline to comment on a report that a Chinese group could be responsible. If so, it could complicate matters for Ottawa, which must decide whether to approve the $15B bid by China’s Cnooc (CEO) to take over Nexen (NXY). [View news story]
CNOOC is trying to develop its country and feed its 85% people still in poverty. It is trying to buy a company that is out for sale and that has gone down, it is not try to coerce and rob like some contries used to do to China, even that kind of fair play, people wants to stop it, see how twisted those people/countries are!!

  • Short-Term VIX ETF Sets New All-Time Low - Time For A Reverse Split? [View article]
    Dear RQR

You have done a great service for a retired person like me. I followed and read Richard Bloch also, but didn't really get the gist of it because I am really a layman; after reading Richard Bloch and your article (a more basic explanation,) I truly understand the VXX value now. No wonder mine VXX fell so much from June to now.

I also understand S2L, because I am still holding my June VXX and thought that under the present economic situation, volatility SHOULD be high. Of course, I forgot to factor in the institutional market manipulation, too.

  • China Dives Deep Into North Sea-WSJ [View instapost]
Your comments are useful, practicle, and I think our government should really start thinking for us like the Communist Chinese government do for their people, regardless of whatever Western countries demonizing them about, they are doing the business the correct way.

Thanks to every body for commenting. I am losing big on QCOR for which I have total trust. So did you guys get some more at this low value? Right now I am quite taken aback, and don't know what to do.

With respect, please do not politicize equity markets. Know your history, get it straight: such as U.S. and other 7 countries turning China into Columbia?? Opium???

If your government care for all its people, would they help the Bankers, and all those manipulating Financial Institutions? JPM?? AIG??? Lehman ros???? I am more pissed off then you, I trusted the American government, and to find out that it only protect the rich and powerful, not protecting its people.

    Hey Biased Prem,

Do your research, China already announced to the U.S. and to the whole world, that China only deal with the country individually, that if the country want to GANGUP on China with others, China's policy is not to talk to outsiders.

Missed a lot of typos and grammar, but others will still get my meaning. And you, just reading the last few lines will be sufficient for you.

  • CNOOC's Potential New Fields [View article]
    Prem,
Looking at your idiosyncratic smiley face, I could understand why you manipulated the reason that Cambodia refused to add Philipine's suggested statement, that Cambodia is "very depend on China's trade, declined to add the statement ," Get your history clear before you make political remarks on the stock market. Business growth is hard enough already to have all these powerful countries impeding emerging countries by using their hypocritic, double-standard, to judge and punish any countries that are not on their "greedy, evil, criminal" side.
I suppose you are also happy that your U.S. government is not on the side of investors' betterment, or works for their loss, but support these big banks, and criminally-manipulator instituions??? AIG, JPM, etc. In case you really don't know, the U.S. supplied Philippines some more weaponry boats, so that they can fight with China. You guys pushed opimium into China protecting yourselves with guns boats and weapons, and now YOU SAY BECAUSE CAMBODIA doing business with China and depend on China??
Don't you know, most countries depend on U.S. if they depend on China, that is because they can make some money for their people; unlike they depend on U.S. because they, too, want to rob from China.
If you want to hurt Chinese economy, I understand. But PLEASE, give me a break, you are not economic advisor, you are INCAPABLE of this because you have bias on your mind? So, considering your chosen igorance on politics and on economics, you are NOT QUALIFY to write about both of these topics.
Good Night and Good-Bye. Never going to read anything from you.

  • Short Squeeze Draws Closer For Questcor [View article]
Mr. Karame, Thank you for such a detailed report, especially with the explanation about Citron.I have always trusted QCOR, however, the last time I bought much more at 56.02.
But seeing a 20% value increase is what? $51.26 from$42.68 right? So I wonder how long will it take to go back to $56.02. I appreciate the part that you explain about Criminal Citron having to sell short and so needed to use their influence to bring QCOR down. At first I really did not understand why they have to do that. Yeah, GREED is the capital sin/force. Individual investors are trying to at least keep the value of their money by buying some good hard-working business against such economic devastation, but then we have CITRON. Well, hope they shuff their money up their end hole.

  • VXX Hits New All-Time Low - How Far Down Can It Go? [View article]
Richard, Thankyou so much for sharing your info with us generously. I had NO idea about VXX's reverse split!!!! None at all. You see, I did do my homework (although I do not fully understand VXX), and yet I did not know about the reverse split; had I known, I would really be thinking twice when I see VXX going up.

  • VXX Hits New All-Time Low - How Far Down Can It Go? [View article]
Hi Happyguy, I like your second paragraph, but your last paragraph scares me; and of course so does all the talks about VXX going down to pennies, too, scare me. All you guys who have been writing comments seem to really know about VIX or VXX. Seems like I am the only one who really, until now, don't know much. It sounds like I am the only loser here cause I bought VXX at 17.82. and a lot of them, too. Seems to me that small potatoes like me is being played by the "criminal" institutions, I don't mean to be nasty, but: how can anybody believe that all equity stocks are making big businesses still?

Even before there is any sustainable proof to Citron's accusation on QCOR, like many historical cases, even if after it is provejn that the 'rapist' is not that person but another man, the harm is done. That is how things work: accuse first and the victim is stuck with that dark shadow forever. I think QCOR is hopeless, it won't bring back the losses all these people suffer even if the up-coming earnings report is good because Citron has efffectively managed to cut off QCOR's root. Good job although unconscionable.
