    Vlad,

While thats a possibility I just think theres too much liquidity \ reserves in the system. This is the mistake that doomers have made as these guys have pointed out...

While sites like Zerohedge are insightful for many issues they lose their credibility posting articles that claim huge drops in the stock market but also have an article right next to it about dow 36K from Fed based inflation. So which Armageddon is it zero hedge? It can't be both.... its NOT going to be either. The simple result is a move towards an increasing wealth gap & a general decline in living standards for Americans as global trade creates BALANCE... not doomsday but not a real growing economy like they claim

Fear n Greed- Showing the colors, as usual. Claiming you're brilliant because QE leads to higher stock prices... genius ha ha. I'll give you that it was foolish to be a doomsdayer & say the market is going to retest the lows of 2009 with such a dovish fed.

Tack- Excellent analysis, as usual. "So, if QE flows back to the Fed in the form of excess reserves, it's really not doing much of anything. And, that's why it can be tapered, or stopped outright, frankly, without much if any impact"

We will see... I appreciate all the insight man, thats good stuff. I disagree that the Feds reserves are "really not doing much of anything" Bank rolling more bad debt, bad mortgages again & enabling a lack of fiscal prudence on the governments side always has unintended consequences the Fed doesn't understand.

So... you contend that people dont understand QE, I contend the Fed doesn't understand the long term effects of distorting the free market. You make valid points, many people dont understand QE but even the Fed says they dont understand QE ! I'll have to find some work on the consequences of QE I agree with & let you tear it to shreds ha ha! I look forward to it! Good luck bro

Again... we will see whos right on the economy when the Fed stops printing.

Fear & Greed, you continue to CONFUSE stock market & economy.

We are talking about the ECONOMY for this particular discussion. You think its good, I think its QE reliant.

You have been RIGHT on the stock market! I'll give you that. I've been squarely in the camp of Dow 36,000+ if the Fed keeps printing but that tells you NOTHING about the economy. Caracas stock market was up 400% in 2013, they have a good ECONOMY? You have been WRONG on the economy being strong enough without QE (5 years of QE & running)... unless they can taper to zero with no ill effects... if they can do that I will also say you are right about the economy.

So please, for the last time the economy is NOT the same as the market! Its 2 discussions.

Hows todays economic report? And is the market acting accordingly now?

When "reports" are good, QE is effective & todays bad ISM is due to the weather?

Like I said Tack & Fear N Greed. Lets see a market without QE, Lets see a report without QE. Some believe this economy doesn't need QE, I believe its reliant on it. We can tell whos right ONLY when theres no QE.

The reaction to taper is a hint but the jury is still out... If the Fed has to stop taper then economic bears as myself, we are right. If the Fed can taper to zero for a good chunk of time & the economy \ market do well, you win, you were right

You're on the clock Calfia- you said the USA is strong enough that it doesn't need QE. I contend we are reliant on it. We will find out in 2015 really but this year could be "the tell"
