With more and more firms providing no cost ETF's using sector rotation strategies is less costly to do, especially with a weekly rebalancing strategy. I particularly like the Vanguard set of commission free ETFs because they seem to have a bit lower volatility than other related ETFs making them useful in a relative strength portfolio system.

I don't like predicting the market direction and rather decipher and act on current trends. However, I think your analysis is quite reasonable, and would add in the political element as well. My own guess is that there will be a shift of power in Congress to the Republicans which will be an additional stimulus to the market.
