I just started actively managing my 401k in January. I happened to read the Big Short by Michael Lewis, thought that was great, and in there some of the guys he followed mentioned Joel Greenblatt How to be a Stock Market Genius and read that. Had also previously read some books on Warren and the Intelligent Investor. Then in January just stumbled upon Seeking Alpha and this website has taught me so much, obviously still tons to learn though. I would consider myself a value investor.
