And Now Begins the Bull Market in Cash [View article]
Don, you're right. Those of us who were taught History "back in the day" know it. If this country attacks Canada + Mexico though I'll try to cash out and find a hut in Costa Rica, if I can. All kidding aside, no one seems to care that we very well may be printing Monopoly Money pretty soon. The inmates have truly taken over the aslyum. I wish us all good luck, we need it.
I'm a retail investor and I'm tired. Over the past couple of decades greed has replaced honest hard work as the driver of the economy. I'll admit I'm ignorant of much of the market, no MBA just a trade school diploma working as a machinist. I'm fearful also. I invest my money and my free time trying to maximize my "picks" for retirement. The only "surge" I can count on is a tidal one here in Florida during hurricane season, not in my wages. Mr. Biderman is correct, "no bank is going to lose money" they are going to do their level best to overcharge me for all the courteous services we at one time got for free, because we were valued customers. All things said and done though, the most the retail investor can expect is to have a level playing field in the marketplace. The least he should plan for is that the system is gamed against him.
