  • Apple - Hold On Tight And Don't Play Wall Street's Game  [View article]
a good article with common sense. Now, people start to realize that Samsung is just a copycat. This time, they copied some feature from Nokia. They are waiting to copy the next idea from Apple.

Like the author, I bought a S3 from Amazon last summer. When I opened the box, I couldn't believe how CHEAP it felt. After playing with it for 3 hours, I put it in return box. S4 is just another Android phone with a more impressive spec list. Maybe it is just my taste, S3 is just ugly. For people have to use Android, consider HTC One. For me, I am waiting for the 5s or 6.

  • Apple (AAPL +1.7%) rallies as the Street takes the launch of Samsung's (SSNLF.PK) Galaxy S IV, which has an impressive spec sheet but has seen mixed early reviews, in stride. Apple's sell-side fans are circling the wagons, with Gene Munster comparing the S IV to an 'S' iPhone launch. Nomura is less sanguine: noting the popularity of bigger displays and stating its checks indicate a bigger iPhone won't arrive in 2013, it thinks Samsung could overtake Apple in high-end smartphone shipments this year on the back of 35M-40M S IV and Note sales per quarter.  [View news story]
People really thinks the Samsung phone is more cool than iPhone?

The design is just ugly. HTC One is pettier.

The Galaxy Phone just feels really cheap when you hold it.

Samsung is outspending all others on marketing to bash Apple.

But eventually, it is all about the product, stupid!

Samsung is forever perceived as a copycat.

  • Something Is Seriously Wrong With Salesforce  [View article]
CRM is not profitable, but the market decides to provide it the capital for growth. Too much $ in the growth fund is chasing limited number of "growth stories". Rational or irrational, profitable or unprofitable, the market seems to only focus on the top-line growth now.
