    If bbry were to spend money, best is to pay software house to build more apps, like banking apps, financial apps like trading apps, better cnbc apps. Those are important for business users too. Then use the rest of the budget to hire the best engineers away from competitor. Also lower the cost of ownership for lower end moarket, not just the cost of the device.

    This stock attracts a lot of shorts because as the company is not profitable (prior to this quarter), many long funds are prohibited from investing in it. Therefore, hedge fund has less to fear knowing they have the fire power to move it down without any counter bunch. Funds that have the risk tolerance wanting to own BBRY already have bought. Leaving the daily fluctuation to the hedge funds. Now that the company is projecting profitability, many more funds will be able to buy the stocks and the hedge fund will have to worry strong longs coming in.
