You seemed to have missed the FASB cave-in to the banks when they delayed the date banks will have to take their asset write-downs and losses on to their books. "It would disturb the markets to see all the gore" Maybe, but reverting to the mean for banks is a trip to a far place and it will never happen. The are little Japan with rotted banks setting in a pile waiting for something to happen. No moral guts to clear ourselves up because it would panic the public to see just how badly the banks and wallstreet, and government managed. But we will know by the way we live, or don't live, the taxes we pay and the lies that ring in our ears. We will know.
