  • Pershing Square: New Positions in McDonald's and Automatic Data Processing [View article]
I hope no one will think that this allocation or specific selections are a wise allocation etc for individuals. These holdings are more complex to manage than individuals would want to undertake, may more so that hedge funds want to undertake. I doubt we can guess the strategy and time lines involved so these indeed blind funds.

  • 29 Stocks with Sustainable Dividends [View article]
This kind of recommendation must be carefully guarded against. No one knows what is sustainable in another down turn, and the probability of that is high.

The S&P 500 has gone beyond just discounting the end of the downturn but is now embedding a 4.0% real GDP growth rate for the coming year. That is pure insanity, if it is not them worry about inflation instead.

  • Green Shoots Rule Over Safe Havens in Small Signs of Progress [View article]
Wild!! Your advice seems bold and short range, or is this a long range guess? In any case why believe the employment report?? The BLS manipulation of the Birth/Death matrix was shameless and so are you for blindly accepting the hoax. Go easy on your advice someone might think you know something.

"The bond market’s reaction to the employment report tells me that green shoots supersede the safety of parking money in short term instruments and earning relatively nothing on cash."

How soon we forget, quickly we come to believe.

  • Dividend Aristocrats Will Continue to Outperform [View article]
The value of the dividend to investors is not the issue; dividends are a fine way to gain income. The question is why would a firm pay a dividend? There is likely to be a capital shortage in the future and dividends will become a luxury without which the business can do. Historically dividends were offered to lure investors to buy a stock and hold it for years and let it compound. Why is that likely to be effective in the future when business activity will be subdued to say the very least. I doubt dividends have any staying power and will become just a memory of a more stable market.

  • Saut: Sell Financials, Gold; Some Buy Ideas [View article]
This guy is a dummy. Selling gold at this point of the legislative process is like going like sticking your head out of the train window to see if there is anything coming. It is dangerous and likely to make you a foot shorter.

He had noting to say, so he said the markets bottomed last Thursday. Will ignore this dummy and watch the market work lower.
