    Alan is right, this piece is dated.

    The current developments in Asia seem less sanguine, the failure of exports to rise is putting a lid on the recovery. It seems to turn on America's capacity to consume which is deeply restricted with few prospects. China is the new Asia, but the pall from US excess is the new consumer's reality.

    Longer term some of these markets have price structures that suggest a major correction is in the offing.

    This rally should last a while, but it will become the prelude of a longer and stronger correction, or maybe a flat that runs for several years, longer than you can believe.

    Nothing too good, and to top if off the price of bonds should collapse soon as you know who sells a few bonds. Have mercy.
