  • Fisker dies but Karma EV might live [View news story]
It's just a hybrid, and the way forward is pure electric, as Tesla has firmly established.
Best of luck, however, to Hybrid Tech and hybrids in general.

  • Tesla Isn't Disruptive Nor Will It Be The Next Apple [View article]
For what it is worth, I own a red P85, and the first 5000 Km. of driving it used less than $100.00 of electricity, and I am being conservative.
Putting aside all of the amazing performance and other qualities of the car, it uses significantly less energy to get the job done.
On an energy cost per mile, it is 800% cheaper than my Honda Accord V6, and almost 1800% cheaper than my F-250.
I rest my case, and look forward to a world full of electric cars powered by sunshine, wind and wave.

  • Tesla Battery Swap Is A No-Go [View article]
I own a new red Model S Performance, and do not care about battery swaps and supercharger networks, as the car is breathtaking.
If you have ever trusted in anything, trust in these guys.
Tesla is hiring the best and demanding the best from them. Do you need a better recipe for success?

  • Tesla Earnings Preview: Watching Model S Sales And Gross Margins [View article]
I ordered the performance model last year when the stock was $28.80, and became an investor.
I am taking delivery this Saturday at 4:00 PM, so the $28.80 to $60.00 elapsed time was 8 months. I wish that I had invested more heavily, but the profits so far pay for about 30% of the price of the car!! Very cool!

  • Tesla Motors: Consider Risks As Well As Potential While Investing [View article]
All of the above is true, but let us not forget the Supercharger network which is under construction, expanding rapidly, and most of all, free! Is there another company out there anywhere that is or has done anything of this magnitude for its clients?
Made in America by Americans, powered by American energy.
Buy the car or the stock and enjoy the ride!

  • Could This One Thing Derail Tesla? [View article]
Adding a noise generator would be inexpensive, and could be done with a scheduled annual inspection quite conveniently for all involved.
I find the "derail" terminology to be alarmist, inaccurate and disappointing.
The good news is that if this is the best negative stuff that can be compiled on Tesla, then perhaps it is time to buy more of their stock.

  • The burning question over how many Model S vehicles Tesla Motors (TSLA +0.5%) manufactured in 2012 might be answered if a parsing of the VIN numbers issued by the automaker can be trusted. According to anecdotal reports, the highest VIN number issued so far is #3383 - just above Tesla's latest guidance calling for 2,700 to 3,225 units. [View news story]
Who cares about such unimportant VIN "noise"? (Full disclosure, I have just configured my Model S Performance(red), and am a shareholder in the company, and will be buying another 1000 shares or more within the next week or two.)
Everything about this company, it's products, and more importantly it's planned products make this stock the one to buy if there ever was one. The Models S and X are just previews of the main event which will be the assembly of mass production, affordable electric transportation. There is a VAST market for energy efficient vehicles, and Tesla is firmly in the lead.(in my opinion)
