Don't be afraid of it. We have it in Europe and it is better than the US system by a long shot. You just have to get it right.
You are just afraid of it because your government and media like with Irak has made the people completly panicky about this.

Try to get it, the US is just not the best (one of the worst, that is why you where and are not liked by almost anyody). You where able to screw the rest of the world for a few years, but the system, as you realize, is not sustainable. Try something else.
