The author has always been an android tout... you now the guys that believe quality does not matter and software should "be open", but we all know the security and malware issues this has presented with windows and it probably will not be long before everyone wakes up to android.
As things stand at the moment with Blackberry going under, it is only a matter of time for Microsoft and Nokia to follow suit.
Apple's competitive advantage has always been its software (iOS and mac OS ecosystem) but this at first is not easily apparent. I want to see how this will play out with Samsung.

I generally tend to agree with the author. I am yet to read Isaac's book but when Steve Jobs was alive I came to appreciate that to assume what he has done at Apple will go on for posterity is the inflection point where ingenuity ends and politics begins. And we all know Steve Jobs fought bozos tooth and nail.
There is a world of difference between getting informed from reading as opposed to watching TV... and perhaps that is why Steve Jobs' contributions with, especially with the IPAD, are still under appreciated.

Oops Xcerion is not Apple but if Apple offers a service that is anything similar then their servers will certainly be busy. If I think of my apps that I need to be online and am currently paying for via VPS, this will certainly be life saver. Even if it is not free, I think it will be competitively priced
