  • White House nominates ex-Google patent counsel to head USPTO [View news story]
It's funny that people are forgetting one if not the biggest patent company in the world, Nokia. For instance google tried to make vp8codec a standard. Well unfortunately Nokia has many patents considering vp8 and Nokia said they are not giving anything for free. And google hit the wall. In addition Nokia has hundred's of patents which it can use to bring google to its knees if courts all over the world does what is legally right

  • 3 Reasons To Stay Away From Nokia [View article]
I wonder where comes the statement that Nokia isn't profitable? Nokia has 3 divisions which all are making profits. In addition. The CEO said that revenues are growing un the second half of the year. And he also said that margins are staying in guided 5-10% profit marging being more close to upper limit. I don't. See any problem owning Nokia.

  • When Will Twitter Become Profitable [View article]
CEO and COO had a fight over strategy. It was so severe that the latter resigned. For me it is never a good sign if a top officer leaves the company because of disagreement in view to the strategy.

I'm going short before the q2 report if stock is over 40 dollars. The risk in this is that the MAU has grown because of world cup. Otherwise the results can't be too good.

And I don't see it as an advantage that there are not much competition in microblogging. If twitter turns it to profitable others will come.

  • Twitter's engineering chief steps down [View news story]
I think it was other way round. He announced he is Going To sell because he knew he is going to leave the company. I very much doubt anyone could get sacked only because of selling his shares.

  • Twitter -4.9% as lockup expiration arrives [View news story]
I wonder if doggiecool or something like that have shot himself. He was cheering twitter being a great investment. I told before earnings report and before lock up day that I'm seeing this going down and I did invest accordingly. My mistake was to sell the bear instruments too soon. Missed 5000 euros not waiting this evening.

  • Why Twitter Is Irrationally Overpriced [View article]
The carnage is starting next week. First investors will be disappointed the lack of MAU growth. The stock goes down 5-10%. Only after a few days there will be hundreds of millions of shares more on the market. I'm guessing that within a month twitter will reach its IPO price. I have invested accordingly and I will invest more.

  • Twitter co-founders, CEO to keep shares as lockup expiration looms [View news story]
Indeed. Some insiders who has between 10k-100k shares are still at these values having a jackpot. The lower end is getting enough money to pay their children's college and the high end is getting millions. There bound to be a sell off after may fifth.

I would sell if I was a worker in that company. In our company we have a situation where we are going to make huge profits starting this summer because of big cooperation deal. Don't get excited. We are not a public company. If we were and our stock would be high as twitter. I would still sell all though I know the coming good things.

  • Twitter co-founders, CEO to keep shares as lockup expiration looms [View news story]
I bought earlier twitter bear instrument with 5 k euros. I had two reasons. First was ridiculously high valuation and the second one was the massive release of stocks in may. I already have 100% profit. I'm not cashing out before may.

  • Can Nokia Breach $8.50 Now That China Approved The D&S Sale To Microsoft? [View article]
Blackberry patents are not that valuable to Nokia that they should take the burden of their phone business. I think Nokia is eyeing on the next big thing. It can be self driving cars, virtual reality glasses, smart clothes or positioning based advertising. It can also be related to graphene or to something which we haven't even guessed. In any case over a hundred year old company has definitely something big up to its sleeve.

  • Nokia-Microsoft deal approved by Chinese regulators; Nokia +4.7% [View news story]
It only needs Nokia india To go to bankrupt. The first step towards this has been done. The beauty in this is that the justification for bankrupt is the tax debts. So if India wants plant in business they need to scrub the tax demand.

  • Nokia - Will The Tables Ever Turn? [View article]
I don't even bother to correct all the mistakes done writing this. But one correction is in order. The Microsoft deal is postponed because lack of China approval, not because the tax dispute. The tax dispute is just concerning one facility.

  • Nokia: The D&S Deal Is Not Endangered By Tax Dispute [View article]
The deal was postponed because of China not India. There Are many Chinese phonemakers Which Are not paying To nokia anything. China is trying to use the deal between Nokia and Microsoft as a leverage in order to help their phone makers.
