  • Russian Roulette: Taxpayers Could Be On The Hook For Trillions In Oil Derivatives [View article]
Although I looked for ways to prove my theory, I was just not clever enough to weave my way through the web of deception. I was not "insider" enough to turn over the correct stones.

The evidence keeps piling up, but can we really depend on the SEC or DOJ to protect us. I will let you make your own opinion on that.

Let's just theorize that Sec. Kerry made all those trips to Europe and the Middle East with the plan to lower oil prices to cripple the Russian economy. Let's just pretend that Sec. Kerry promised to stop ISIS in Syria to protect some unknown kingdom from insurgency. Sec. Kerry had to be discrete, but of course, that did not include his associates the Rockefeller family; who amazingly sold out their oil and gas holdings. Once that so publicly happened, no one could be accused of conspiracy or insider trading when they sold their own O&G holdings.

Then boom, the bottom fell out, and somebody never felt a thing. Coincidence? Yes.

  • Verizon: The Only Way I Would Buy Its Stock [View article]
Sprint is following the "better to go out in a ball of fire than just fade away". If they get T and VZ customers, they only prolong the process because it isn't profitable business. The pendulum continues on its merry way. VZ can weather the storm and when its over, their margins will expand. In the interim the stock will survive. Buy low.

  • New York state to ban fracking, citing health concerns [View news story]
I bet the G0V is more than happy to get gasoline that was distilled from fracked crude. What a NIMBY. I hope there are negative repercussions to NY regarding this decision.

  • How Long Does A 'Typical' Oil Downcycle Last? [View article]
Because during that period a lot of U.S. producers went bankrupt and the banks lending them $ went bankrupt. Too scary to mention.

  • Kinder Morgan And The Good, The Bad And The Ugly Truth Regarding Falling Oil Prices [View article]
Gosh Dave, LNG has a negative net worth, negative EBITDA, negative earnings of $.5B and they are still waiting for their permit to export LNG from Corpus Christi. And wow, someone just lent them another $11.5B. I hope Mr. Kinder is not going to be surprised.

  • North Dakota to require every barrel of crude oil be filtered [View news story]
Who needs Saudi Arabia to stifle the U. S. shale industry? Where is O when we need him? I thought this was a big tax break for the American people? You let one thing get good in this country and then they call you a Republican.

  • A Once In A Generation Change For Stocks [View article]
I don't know much about the top 5%, but I think taxing the hardest working Americans, to equalize the ones who don't or won't work, would be the wrong thing to do. I worked hard, sacrificed and saved to provide a decent retirement for my wife and myself.

Government policies that created jobs would be one way to equalize income. Why doesn't the Government fix the crumbling highway system. This would provide good paying jobs for people and it would please almost everyone else, who did not get stuck in construction traffic.

  • What Should Gold Investors Do Now? [View article]
Thanks Hebba. Because you have shared your thoughts on gold, I will provide you and your followers with what is going to happen in the fixed income markets.
You will be able to observe a rising of interest rates on the long end. Short term rates will rise in response to the generally rising long rates. The yield curve will flatten followed by a shift up in the yield curve. Short term rates will rise above intermediate and long term rates. Funds will flow into the short term rates causing the yield curve to flatten once again. The yield curve will shift downward lowering interest rates overall.
I am 100% confident in my prediction on the direction of interest rates as shown above, only not necessarily in that order.

  • 4 Reasons To Have Exxon Mobil In Your Portfolio [View article]
XOM may have purchased $207 billion of their shares from the public, but they have given the top management billions of dollars worth of stock options. (See annual proxy statement on top officers salaries) When you say XOM is investing in itself, you aren't kidding. XOM is using $3 bil per year to buy stock and their cap ex spending is being short changed. Management fat cats are lining their own pockets. Wise up.

  • Unemployment rate falls to 5.9% [View news story]
I bet the unemployment rate improves every week through the first of November, and in December, there will be a revision. If the Senate changes hands, there may not be a revision until late January.

If you like the unemployment numbers, I think you may be interested in a bridge I am selling from Manhattan to New Jersey. I am letting it go cheap.

  • A Few Reasons Why I'm Staying Long On Shares Of Con Edison [View article]
Reduce spending on an overall annual basis? As is the case with most of our larger, older cities; the utility infrastructure is crumbling. Fatal explosions are generally more expensive than fixing the problem but ED may have more problems than capital to make fixes. The key to ED is to get rate increases to improve capital expenditures.

  • How The Internet Of Things Impacts Industrials [View article]
I'm sure smartphones will grow from 1.9B to 4B in two years. So What? If a Chinese or Indian peasant gets a smart phone; will he be able to turn off his wood burning stove with it? My kids have smart phones, but they don't have jobs or money. More 0bama smart phones could be the answer. I hope someone is looking into food and clean water.
