  • How BlackBerry Flipped The Script On Apple And IBM [View article]
    @DWBowers

    You don't get around very much, I gather. Try to get involved in the corporate world, If you have the credentials to be there. There you will see a different world. And usage of smart phones.

    I don't understand, that with your self proclaimed technical knowledge and intellect. You should have had a program designed to compete with "Movirtu" In the same way you tried to sell your super smart phone idea. Best of luck. LOL

    What happen to your super phone? Did you sell the idea? Or did you finally give it up due to lack of interest.
    Did you know, that Blackberry is succeeding in their recovery plan. Without your help. Long BB.

  • BlackBerry Passport Beating iPhone 6 In A Recent Poll [View article]
    @Wusseldussel

    The name of the commentator almost give the name to the content of the comment. I don't think John Chen will repeat the disaster from last year launch of the new BB10 smart phones. As far as the marketing goes nobody knows approach Blackberry will take. Therefore criticizing them is not a fair judgment of their marketing department. I think a sensible approach in judging the launch of the new Blackberry products. Is to sit back and let the show unfold on Sept. 24.

    Here is one crazy idea. But it might work. As Blackberry already have an manufacturing agreement with Foxconn. They should team up with Amazon. Here is the scenario of the partnership, as following:

    1) Amazon should scrap their smart phone business.

    2) Blackberry and Foxconn should design and manufacturer all products.
    Foxconn is already producing the "Kindle Fire" which is a near copy of the Blackberry "Play Book" It wouldn't take much to convert the "Kindle Fire" in to a low budget "Phablet" for the emerging markets. Which could also be sold as an e-reader.

    3) The trio of Foxconn, Amazon and Blackberry should manufacturer, market and sell the line of smart phones and phablets.

    I think, that Amazon with their marketing skill, Foxconn with their efficient manufacturing ability and the Blackberry innovative engineering could be an interesting combination.

    I personally prefer my 14 carat gold IWC self winding Watch. No battery or any gizmos.
    It's now 55 years old and have never been to a dealer for check up. Value in the 10K plus range. I would like to see if any of the new toy's can beat that in investment.

    If not. Here is the synonyms of the four letters.

    1) Together.

    2) Everybody.

    3) Achieve.

    4) More.
