  • BP Vs. Halliburton And The Legacy Of The Gulf Disaster [View article]
Yes randyguyer, I read a local newspaper article also putting HAL's management on the hot seat by one of the FED. Judge. The Judge eluded to testimony given very easily in the trail by a Hal higher-
up that did not speak about any possible error in the cement sample that was being taken and pumped into the well right before the tragedy. Hal 's spokesperson said he or Hal had no information at that early date. Jody please enlighten us if cylinders of the cement samples are routinely kept and stored in their warehouse? I with you ...... all cement .....bottom of the Gulf. Also RIG is looking to buy-out smaller companies with newer deep water rigs and retire some of their older ones. Thanks Jody for the great article. By the way I'm long on Hal and BP. jpmj4847

  • Will World of Warcraft fans go for a card game? Activision (ATVI +2%) is launching HearthStone: Heroes of Warcraft, a free-to-play title for the PC, Mac, and iPad that lets users build card decks around Warcraft character classes and compete online. A beta launches this summer, and a full launch is expected by year's end. Though Activision is growing its arsenal of mobile/casual titles, it has been less aggressive than Electronic Arts, arguing consoles are still its main priority. (PR[View news story]
Yes, my grandson and I will start warming up this summer between ball games and by XMAS we will be in full swing for the big launch, see you at Wal Mart. Go ATVI , as I said before their management has good vision, knowledgeable, and timing.....young minds are a shame to waste..... I'll remained long and think / hope we all will continue to be reward in the future, dividends a plus for me. thanks, jpmj4847

  • Dow Shows Enthusiasm For Low-Cost U.S. Natural Gas [View article]
Yes ronwagn, I agree and yes MetalMiner all the while keeping the profits, jobs...... and benefits very close to home. Great article and go natural gas boom! For example Huntsman Corp. announced today that it will be expanding and adding new jobs to their plant in Geismar, La. near Baton Rouge and on the Mississippi River. "Adding manufacturing jobs is how America rebuilds its might," said Jon M, Huntsman, who founded the company in 1970 after he stepped down as president of a joint venture involving Dow Chemical. Gov. Bobby Jindal added, "Louisiana is centered in the middle of a natural gas boom because of our access to shale gas reserves, and it's helping to create thousands of opportunities for our people." • Barclays resumes coverage of Cheniere Energy (LNG +2.1%) at Overweight with a raised $28 target price; shares hit a 52-week high today. The firm also resumes Cheniere Energy Partners (CQP +0.6%) at Equal Weight and a $26 target. The firm notes funding is still needed for the Creole Trail pipeline dropdown, part of which could come from equity issuance. [View news story]
Not so fast H& BI, LNG has a lot going for them. If you mean sell all and not just taking some off the top, I would disagree with you. First of all LNG has some of the "Big" companies looking to buy them out. In my opinion, their management is way out front in every facet of the game plan and even foreigners are taking notice. I think and hope that we will all be reward in the near future.

  • Transocean: The Turnaround Continues [View article]
Yes Bret, I agree and hope their management is doing just that. Being from the Gulf South Region, I just read a newspaper article about the spill and for now it is looking (ok) for RIG, with HAL on the hot seat. The judge is now forcing on the testes preformed on HAL's cement samples, that were being pumped into the well right before the tragedy. From the article, it was hard to tell if the three companies: BP, RIG, or HAL were going to pay equally or not. jpmj4847

  • Clean Energy Boosted By U.S. Natural Gas Refueling Station Plans [View article]
Michael, would that be had the jump on everyone else and in my view drop the ball. Why did it take ENN ( luv the name "CH14EC") not so much, to get the USA attention? History is a funny thing, and we might be the ones holding the ball; again, instead of being independent of others. I hope you are right and I'm wrong.jpmj4847

  • NPD's latest round of bleak video game sales data is leading Electronic Arts (EA -2.4%), Activision (ATVI -2.6%), and Take-Two (TTWO -1.6%) to close lower. A 27% Y/Y drop in U.S. physical retail game sales was worse than the normalized 19% drop seen in January, as demand remains tepid ahead of this fall's PlayStation (SNE) and Xbox (MSFT) refreshes. Console sales fell 36%, worse than January's normalized 17%. The Xbox was the best-selling console for the 19th straight month, and the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo's (NTDOY.PK) Wii U saw strong M/M growth off small bases. [View news story]
