  • Why I Believe Groupe Gorge Is Worth $35+ Thanks To Its New 3D Printer Business [View article]
So you think that only the ones that are already "big" today will have a good development on the market? Because this is what your argumentation implies, which is wrong as you should know. 3D printing is not .com as most of the companies we are talking about here have a fundamental technology and a sound business model. If all of the 3D printing companies will be still in two or three years, nobody can tell, but Prodways is well positioned and generating sales already. I really do like ONVO's technology, but the barriers are much higher for ONVO than for Groupe Gorge with Prodways. ONVO cleary is much more speculative than GGRGF. I don't say that DDD and SSYS are not good investments to made for the next years, but higher yields can be possible with other, more unknown 3D printing companies.

I'm pretty sure that it's written €4,8M. With revenues I'm not that sure whether the article says 100 or 10M, but 100 should be wrong anyway, because then Phidias had to sell each printer for about 5,88M..

One thing I don't get is why everybody is so revenue-focused.. I mean, revenue is important, of course, but more important is (net) profit! One fictitious example: One group that had revenues of 100 mio and net profit of 5mio in year 2012 has a very good development even if renvenues are down to 90mio (-10%) but at the same time net profit is up to 5,5mio (+10%). One reason for this can be that the fictitious group got rid of a weak daughter.Or the group acquired a new innovative technology with high margins so that even if revenue does not increase significantly after one or two quarters net profit may rise by x% or xx%.

Why do you people compare it with CAMT? Don't make this mistake. It's comparing apples with pears. It's not CAMT. It's a completely different company with a completely different 3D printing technology - a real one IMO. In addition, only because Super-trades is invested in Groupe Gorge, you try to say that it is pump and dump, but as I said I think it is not. Super-trades didn't cause the PPS to go up as it was with CAMT. BTW Groupe Gorge also hasn't appreciated about 300% as it was the case with CAMT - that happend in only three days, before it dropped to a price still the double of its price before it moved into the view of the public regarding its "3D" printing technology, which I find to be a fair value for CAMT at the moment.

I didn't intend to jump on you. The second sentence was not related to you in specific, but was generally meant. I guess, I should have formulated it slightly different. Anyway, from a 3D-printing technology perspective I'm also not convinced of CAMT - which doesn't mean that I think it's not a good investment. With Groupe Gorge for me it is clear that they do have a great "real" 3D printing technology which is highly competitive.

  • 3D printer maker ExOne (XONE) has turned in a strong IPO. After pricing its 5.3M-share offering at $18, shares opened at $23.93 and have since risen to $25.94, good for a 44% gain. That gives the company a market cap of $332M. ExOne, which is focused on industrial 3D printer buyers, had revenue of just $15.9M (+26% Y/Y) in the 9 months ending Sep. 30, and a net loss of $11.1M. Rivals 3D Systems (DDD -3.9%) and Stratasys (SSYS -3.6%) are lower. (S-1[View news story]
