Marinmaven is a San Francisco Native that grew up in the Bay Area peninsula where Silicon Valley emerged. She has worked in high tech sector for over 20 years, including an experimental project dealing with prototype of interactive television. Marinmaven was an award-winning web producer of a pioneering website on Adoption, Voices of Adoption. In 1998, she was named one of "The Top 25 Most Influential Women on the Web" and served as a Webby Award Judge. In the 1990s, she was an adoption reform activist that worked to pass an adoptee rights legislation in Oregon. After the birth of her son, she moved to Marin with her son and husband. She quit Marinmaven after 6 years and is currently working on various projects while working for a financial services firm as an Office Manager part time. Marinmaven remembers back in the 1980s asking her parents to help her buy stock on PG&E and was refused because they didn't believe in the stock market. She also remembers how engineers and high tech coworkers turned glassy-eyed during an explanation of our 401ks. Just last Fall, she decided to get active with her investments after literally forgetting about them. It is important to note that Marinmaven is not licensed to give any investment advice, and will consider anyone foolish to use what she says she is doing investment wise as prudent for them. Her intent is to think out loud about this journey as an investor and learn from her own mistakes and helpful input. Marinmaven is an unapologetic, flaming Apple Fangirl who is long on APPL, but has a position on MSFT. Maven has decided to transition to ETFs and Securities with the only mutual fund being LISOX. She has entered the world of green energy investing with QCLN, ZBB, GTAT, SQM, ENS along with dividend income ETFs such as VIG, DVY, and SDIV. Plus she has entered the water utilities with AWR. She also has positions in DEM and XLF. Marinmaven loves her ukulele, artisan cheese, fine wine, classical music, and books.

My Wall Street Forensics weekly newsletter provides in-depth and analysis of tech companies. Individually stock picks are recommended portfolio weightings and price targets. Investment picks may range from emerging technology companies that are highly speculative stocks and come with very high risks and very high rewards or momentum stocks that are more mature and come with downside risks but potential explosive upside potential. Stock picks are held captive for Wall Street Forensic subscribers for weeks or months before they are released to the public. This gives subscribers an advantage to get in early before the general public is alerted of my investment picks.
