What does this mean? The purchase price is at $12 higher than where it is now? How will this affect current pricing?????

This was so helpful. As I see EQUIX tank from it's recent high of $231 or so. I got in low at $177 and wonder if I need to sell or not. I don't understand what will happen if and when it turns into a REIT. Is that good or bad and what do I need to consider to stay long. I'm 63 and I enjoy mostly growth stocks. I don't see anything that seems more exciting long term than this, but the recent fall and discussion of senior notes and 60 times is a lot for me to take in. I'm quite dependent on the service that recommended this stock and articles like this. Perhaps some others are too. Thanks.

I've tried breaking away…I'm going to try again. (help for addicts needed?) I have to admit, I love seeing photographs (quality pictures) that I would not ordinarily see and coming across a link I'd never heard of that is awesome...as others enjoy seeing mine, living in a national park. I doubt I'd run into most of it I've benefitted from but I am going to try again to deactivate.
GA and LOL When I bought my first iMac in 2003, I thought I had stepped into a spaceship when I went into the store, thought I was in the future. As the guys set up my new iMac I chatted about the stock. They said "I wouldn't buy APPL stock!!!" very emphatically. But I knew. I just knew. Unfortunately I didn't have the money to invest. I do try to buy what I know, but I love SA for showing me things I've never heard of. Then the fun begins. I learn so much here, to think for myself. Don't discount the value of argument. I appreciate all of your input, no matter what you say, it helps me process/come to a center with gut feelings that usually pay off.
"Buy something you know." I bought an iMac in 2003, my first computer. I thought I was in the future when I went into the store. I chatted with the employees as they set up my iMac settings about the stock. They said "I wouldn't buy Apple stock!!!" emphatically. (I worked for Xerox so I knew something of employee opinion!) I knew they were wrong. It was around $20/share then. My intuition is pretty good sometimes. Another one MELI, or, at the time, that rare earth stock, or Sears or Kmart, and KKD, but unfortunately, I didn't own the shares. Now isn't that just the way it is!!!!!!! Don't doubt me, I know more than some think I do! and, thanks, GA, I WILL buy Peter Lynch to add to my library. Appreciation for all, L
After having zero education in evaluating stocks for myself, I rely heavily on articles, Cramer, cnbc, subscriptions/newsletters such as zacks.com and many many others to make my choices. I face it and I get lucky if I do as much due diligence as I can on what other people think. I feel like a tennis ball or yo yo reading all of this and one side convinces me one way, then the other side convinces me the other way but I come out on the side of patience and an appetite to keep following because of all of you. It's interesting and exciting and I am addicted to the arguments as I learn something, even tho I couldn't explain anything to anyone else (my small brain), I just want to say thank you smart people for helping me stay informed. I will say that when someone catches my eye and says Apple could fall below $400 to $375, I pay more attention to that than it could go to $500. Maybe wisdom plays a part. Ok, hit me with your snide remarks and criticisms for wasting your time and contributing nothing. Hopefully there are some dummies out there like me who will appreciate this if just to agree. Smiles.
