    RTPs,

It sounds like you've been been forewarned - might be prudent to take heed, or at least be nimble

  • The Periphery Is Failing [View article]
S&P 1280 by October 25th; 1550 by December 31st; 1060 by June 30th, 2014. Republicans retain the House and win a notable majority in the Senate in November 2014. Results in a Lame Duck POTUS with numerous vetoes overridden until a successful Republican (former Governor) is sworn-in the White House in January 2017. Affordable Care Act (Albatross) will be completely abolished and become the cautionary tale of Democrat Hubris for generations to come.

thanks for doing what you do. i really need people to stay long and over-leveraged, only to capitulate and sell at the worst possible time (for them)...around 1370 on the S&P.

  • Time To Panic [View article]
Fortunes have been made off of Fed front-running - How's this any different? Is it different simply because the market is perceived by most to be moving in the "wrong" direction? I'm by no means a professional, or qualified to give any "analysis," but in my unqualified view - If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it must be a...

Could it be that some critical technical support levels have been breached (regardless of cause or rationality)? What does the DOW Transports charts indicate about what's likely to take place over the next several weeks/months? Hint: What is 80% of 1687? That's where you might want to cover your shorts (if you're into that), or start picking up discounted quality names on the long side - provided wheels don't fall off from panic and structural damage

But then again, that's my unqualified take - they're serving free kool-aid on CNBC and Bloomberg if you're so inclined.
