I've been in Brasil since the 50s, it was always said here, that "Brasil is the country of the future". The future did come and lasted ten years,but it's gone. Brasil missed the boat,through bad administration of wealth and resources,lack of emphasis on infrastructure,education, and health, which have been replaced by corruption,impunity and now by delusions of grandeur (World Cup & Olympics) two events which Brasil can do without, at this moment there are many more urgent necessities.
