  • Throwing In The Towel On My BlackBerry Shares [View article]
I tortured mine for 11 hour work day and it's still 50%. This is an amazing battery, no worries.

Lol, a phone review? Well, if any of you are interested, I would read the reviews of actual users on Verizon, T Mobile, AT&T, and the like.

My personal experience? The Q10 is the best communication device ever created and that's not subjective. Not the best smartphone, that's subjective depending on what you need (movies, etc) but if you need email, texting, social networking, browsing, there is no better device on the market.

Best keyboard EVER on ANY device, monster battery, the 'Instant Actions' are incredible time savers, 10.1 is quite an improvement of BB10, the screen is BRILLIANT and responsive. I'm not even on the fence on this phone, it's amazing and will sell (like Thorstein said) 10s of millions.

Q10 is rocking Canada. Stealing from iOS, it's a mirror image. And has passed Android.

Systemb. I've seen lots of trolls on phone review web sites, but with real money? Absolutely everything objective (not talking bogus Pac Crest reports) is positive for BBRY. You don't buy or sell stocks...no one would be as biased as you with money on the line. Or would they? June 28 buddy, buckle up.

Good for you. I'm sorry you took it personally, but I don't remember pointing you out specifically.

Nice to see the fanboys of another platform/producer. I usually just read BBRY articles, but this article has introduced me to the Nokia followers.

I am still trying to figure out a way to make money off of the phone OS fanboys, because they don't think logically. And, the ones with money that also invest? It's like they are betting on their sport teams...biased, illogical, emotional.

  • Z10: Zero Sold On Friday, But None Left On Sunday [View article]
It's not BB users, it's almost all smart phone users. The names iSheep and fandroids have been around for years, with iSheep historically being the most obnoxious, but Samsung fans have become absolutely insane. Blackberry fans have just been laughed at for so long, they are glad to have a phone they are not embarrassed of...and they are very defensive. I'm trying to figure a way to make money off of all of them. Especially the fanboys that also invest.

  • BlackBerry (BBRY -6.9%) plummets as the WSJ reports AT&T (T) "doesn't appear to be highlighting" the Z10 on its launch day, or "giving it prominent shelf space at its stores." The paper observes "fewer than 20 people" arrived at two Manhattan AT&T stores to see the Z10, and that a San Francisco store chose to display it "at a back corner of the store, away from a large sign advertising the iPhone 5." Don't worry guys. We may be smug, but we aren't completely stupid. The phone is amazing in look, feel, and function. Everyone who has it, loves it. And, any investor who owns one, stops worrying. I understand a great phone does not make a successful launch, but this BB10 OS is truly a masterpiece. And it's brand new! Wait for some tweaks. Word of mouth, seeing it in action, advertising....it will sell many, many millions.

@winnie6052 Do show us your newly shorted stock purchase on Monday, will you? Not the ones you already stuck with, the newly shorted shares. Or you 'just saying'?

iPhone's strengths of simplicity and ease of use and solid 'ecosystem' are what is prompting me to get the phone for my mom and probably for my wife. I don't want them to have to deal with Android's inconsistencies, updates, widgets, etc. I'm sick of explaining things to them. And with each 'advancement', they assume some knowledge of what came before.

And I don't want them to have to worry about apps and the growing pains of a new OS (BB10). And Windows live tiles made me crazy after a few days. Apple makes amazing phones and you can hit the ground running with no worries. Great cameras, great battery life, etc.

But, their strength is also a weakness. Many, MANY millions want customization...and freedom. Enter Android.

I think their next OS update should ask, as soon as you boot it, "Would you like Classic iOS or WhateverTheNewCustomiz... UI is called? You can change it at any time."

Oh, and, if you simply go to AT&T's web site, you will see that only two phones are being rotated through the front page....HTC One and Blackberry Z10. This is the company that has no faith in Z10, isn't promoting it, and hasn't had any sales? Very odd that they would feature a flop of a pre-order (and live order) phone on the front page of their web site. Lol.
