  • Is It Time To Bottom-Pick In Lululemon? [View article]
I see the same thing about LULU plus the overall market seems kind of wobbly. No catalyst to go down but none to go up either! Wait and see it is!

  • Is It Time To Bottom-Pick In Lululemon? [View article]
I know one too! Shareholders are both stupid and arrogant! They are stupid because they bought the stock and arrogant because they want a dividend.
    Don't remember the source!

  • Is It Time To Bottom-Pick In Lululemon? [View article]
Broker analysts will put a positive or negative spin on a company report when their broker tells them to! Much like GAAP accounting. The mare will look in great or in poor shape depending whether you wish to sell or buy the mare.

  • Is It Time To Bottom-Pick In Lululemon? [View article]
I think ( based on technicals ) the knife has fallen and finds strong support at present price levels ( $45 +/-). Personally, I am looking for some sort of catalyst! Preferably some positive statement from mgt that they have a handle on international expansion and, in a perfect world, revenue numbers to back that up.
By the time that happen LULU will be trading at $80+. I have a small position and am ready to add.

  • Prana Biotechnology Is Still A Short After Recent Alzheimer's Failure [View article]
Fake or fact the lesson here is PRAN as so many other research companies are speculative. That is way these companies use other peoples money to pay for their research. Know that you are speculating and take some profit on the way up. This has been mentioned many times before.
For those who still have shares hold on. The price will recuperate to about $4 to $5. If you have to sell sell then. I have seen this before that the Phase 2 or 3 did not meet endpoints but additional revision of the test data yielded or merited retest or redirection of the research to result in success. Remember it is extremely difficult to hit a bulls eye. Look at nature. Nature had millions of year to develop the human being yet many believe nature failed!

  • Stock Market Pothole Or Precipice? [View article]
Either Washington's and Western Government analysts are ignorant or the media analysts and reporters are ignorant? I believe neither and not absolutely. Washington is happy to see an "old enemy" resurface; if for no other reason then to justify their insane military budget. And to see that the collective European government lack of political savvy to play this crisis to their advantage and gain political status and influence in Pan-European affairs over US influence. The media spin is obvious! It is more sensational to sell a villain than good news. And who pays for all this? Citizens everywhere of course.

  • Ukraine Standoff Fuels Ag Rally, But For How Long? [View article]
I am long DBA leaps. Never mind what happens to individual segments of the Agri business, food prices are on the rise. I should be able to afford my grocery bill come next January.

  • Bipolar Prana: PBT2 For Alzheimer's Dementia, Implications Of The Upcoming IMAGINE Trial Results [View article]
That is why PRAN and its research is considered speculative!

  • Bipolar Prana: PBT2 For Alzheimer's Dementia, Implications Of The Upcoming IMAGINE Trial Results [View article]
Great article. Thank you. From a investors point of view I am always amazed, but not surprised, at the fickle nature of the speculator. At present we have been read 3 digits on a 12 digit lottery ticket. To win any kind of price we need 8 right digits. Yet the market prices PRAN as if there is a 95% probability to get the next 3 digits right, which is great but still no price!
Don't get me wrong I am all for a cure for these horrific diseases and if these leads
in the right direction I will be the first one to cheer but at these PPS levels my risk/reward level is negative and I am hedged.

    Thank you for your reply.
It is a sad fact that the derivatives on a small cap stocks, particularly Canadian small caps, are hopelessly illiquid, but still serve a purpose for hedging.
However arcane Fibonacci metric maybe it never ceases to amaze me how often (not a 100%) the price movement follows this metric.

I don't see any disclosures. Do you or your firm own any BIR. I looked at the technical aspects of BIR and option premiums. Fibonacci projection and retracement indicates that the news event has just about reached its value level of $8.70 +/- 4 cent. The retracement should take us back to $8.29 level, again +/- 4 cent. Chart history of price movements would indicate a new leg up to the $10 level after retracement, just keep in mind that when BIR painted a big white candle it gave back 61.8% of its gains. Please note: This is NOT an advice or recommendation to buy or sell BIR.
Option premiums are very low on calls and puts and are not actively traded. So you better be right at or around expiration date because in all likelihood you are dealing with the market maker at the other end of the deal and he hates it when you take his money!

  • We Were Exactly Right About Lululemon, BUD Has 35% Upside This Year, And What's Next For The Market [View article]
LULU story is still intact. What we witness here is a temporary setback. Basing revenue guidance on two weeks of sales of a traditionally weak shopping period is suspect. What I can see as motive is "under promising and over delivering" over the next quarter and make the new CEO look good.
